Re: WolfQuest Goes to Yellowstone: Slough Creek
I can just imagine what Slough Creek looks like, but now I've seen it-breathtaking. To see some of the animals was impressive as well. Very similar to the game, indeed accurate. I can't want to see the next map making video.

It's amazing just how much the game looks like the actual land. Not only that, but I thought the map was pretty big to begin with, so seeing the comparison blows my mind.

Truly impressive, and unique place. There’s probably no other animal survival game as realistic and accurate as WolfQuest. You guys should be proud of your work!
Re: WolfQuest Goes to Yellowstone: Slough Creek
I can never find photos of Yellowstone on the internet that capture this scenery. Have you seen any wolves on these trips yet?

Wow, I didn't expect it to look so similar to the in-game map! It's so strange to see it for real in a video. It practically feels like I've been there because I played the game so much. I don't have much interest in travel, and there aren't a lot of locations I'm just dying to see, but after playing WolfQuest, I really really want to visit Yellowstone some day, and maybe, hopefully see Slough Creek for myself for real, too.
Great video, thanks for showing us!

Re: WolfQuest Goes to Yellowstone: Slough Creek
I've only just got the chance to watch this, and it was a bit trippy to see what I know as the in-game map in real life. Huge props to the WQ team because it only proves how much dedication there is to make the game as realistic as possible! I'm hoping we'll get more updates on the SC map development when it's time comes, because those are some of my favorite updates. c:
P.S. the ending made me snort, rest in peace Dave's poor shirt-pup ;;

This is pretty cool.
I must say, the valley looks much smaller from a human perspective. It completely drew me into the video when you spotted the deer and bears. Did you have any wolf sightings while you were there?
Great video, I'll be keeping me eyes peeled for the next progress updates.

The real place looks so similar to the game map! That's absolutely amazing, considering I've come to know both the 2.5 and 2.7 Slough Creek Maps like the back of my palm. Wow!

Re: WolfQuest Goes to Yellowstone: Slough Creek
Wow, Dave, you blew me away again. I was so happy to see this new video and how familiar everything looked in the game to the real Slough Creek. Two things for me this time.
The part where you were saying “A black bear and several cubs” the trees were so beautiful! Can the new wolfquest trees be more close together to create that stunning view? Will the new lighting system help with it?
And the last thing, you should DEFINITELY make longer videos like this one! I love every Thursday waiting to see what video you post! I get so excited! Thanks Dave

Re: WolfQuest Goes to Yellowstone: Slough Creek
It loooks beautiful. I’m very exited to see the map in action in wolfquest now that it has been expanded! I wonder what new challenges it will hold for us. More space to explore! It was very surreal seeing places that I had recognised in a video game.
Re: WolfQuest Goes to Yellowstone: Slough Creek
I was on google earth a few minutes ago, and I was thinking hey, why not search slough creek, and then I was amazed to recognize a place I've never been to.I reconized where the cattle ranch
was and where all the wolf dens and all the other wolf packs!
keep up the good work WolfQuest

We really enjoy making these videos (and we really enjoy everyone's responses)....but we should probably make the game our main priority.Wolvesarelife994 wrote:And the last thing, you should DEFINITELY make longer videos like this one!
