Re: Mapmaking
Will there be updates to the pack territories and hunting grounds along with the map?
Re: Mapmaking
That's so cool that you're enlarging Amethyst Mountain to include Lamar Valley. Keep up the good work!

Re: Mapmaking
It appears that designated hunting grounds and similar zones will be gone in favor of the new scent and spawning system. In turn, remaking the maps will not be as impactful on that issue because of the scent and spawning system overhaul.chickiefoo wrote:Will there be updates to the pack territories and hunting grounds along with the map?

So we’re building a new spawning system that will put elk and other animals anywhere they would realistically be found. In contrast to the current system, elk and other animals will always be out there — somewhere — for you to find ... We’ll model this with our new more sophisticated spawning system — for elk, for moose, and for other animals including stranger wolves.

That's certainly an impressive upgrade from our old maps! The part about the Burn was also very interesting. Nice job.

Re: Mapmaking
Do you mean if the new map would work on the latest graphics? I'd think it would have to, in order to be released.Nymeria10 wrote:Will the map be good on the latest graphics?

Re: Mapmaking
I love the new map size and am looking forward to seeing it implemented. Though a question, it the new map going to be a free update to the exsisting game?
Edit:
(Hope its alright to post this) But sicne youre enlarging the Amethyst Map.. I'm wondering, are you going to be enlarging Slough Creek as well? And if so will it include the large lake thats northish of the Aspen den? (the image in the link shows said lake)

Many people do not have a strong PC, but will the map look good on the "Fast" chart?

I think this is something that will come down to personal opinion, honestly. What one person thinks is good appearance-wise will differ from what someone else thinks looks good. You may have to just wait and see how you like it.

Re: Mapmaking
I'm wondering if it will still work properly with the same minimum specs required to have this game. I can luckily run the game on fantastic so i'm hoping it will work out.

Re: Mapmaking
Does this mean when we get the new download we're going to lose the old Amethyst Mountain map? Because I would like to keep the fall version and spring versions of this map if possible. Also, I didn't realize people attempt to play a game like this on mobile. That's not ideal at all.
