WolfQuest 2.5: Survival of the Pack Deluxe is released!

This is quite exciting indeed - I have look forward to the snow, weather and time features for quite a while now as I think they'll add quite an atmosphere;

Downloading it now - I'm sure it'll be worth the wait~!

I don't want to download it yet, because I'm scared when/if I go into Multiplayer, I won't be able to see my friends' chats from this previous episode (non-Deluxe version) and I don't want that to happen. Do you have the option to use the newest version or use the old version?

When you install the new version, I believe the installer will automatically replace your current version. If you're worried about your other multiplayer friends that don't use the new version yet, then you should:

- PM them if they don't know about it yet
- download the new version on another computer if you have one and have permission to, or
- store the game application and data files on an external drive, so you can access them again after you download 2.5, or
- simply wait until you know everyone you want to play multiplayer with has transitioned over to the new version

thats it im going to cry! its saying something about the disk drive being corrupt and cant be used and now that i've started to download the new version on wolfquest, it got rid of the old one i had on my computer! so now i dont have it at all! this is horrible! can someone please help me!?! PM me if you have an ideas on how i could fix this because i will really be upset if i can't play it!!

Is your disk drive corrupt, as in, you can't access anything on it anymore?

Im so excited.
Ive waited so long for it, and now its released.
Im sure older players are right now re-downloading the deleted game, and playing again after so much time leaving it.
Im right now in college, but the moment i get home, ill download it, and drag my friend on multiplayer lol.

(is the list of rules implemented? i didnt see it on the first page mentioned - while it was announced it will be added. Just asking.)

Cana said that the chat lexicon is refreshed with the new version, or at least she mentioned it once or twice that hopefully the lexicon will work better with 2.5, and they do plan updating it.
So now the game is out and:
1. so does 2.5 have a seperate lexicon then?
2. if yes, then can the players chat with each other still through the versions?
3. if not, then what changed with the lexicon? did they update the whole lexicon for both versions?
4. will ppl with previous versions be able to play multiplayer?
5. what about ppl, who dont want to download the new version because of the better lexicon and changes for security?

I know might be weird questions, but im just worried.
There will be people who dont want to download because of the above reason, and still be able to chat, and say things the others might not see - be it a swear word or anything (as we experienced with 2.0 and 1.5, it did cause some trouble and confusion, as some ppl could say gender related words, and other inappropriate things).
