I didn't understand much of that, but still it's a shame that WQ has to be shut down. :( We just have to hope it doesn't last long!

But will the fourms and multiplayer game be back again one day?
and will wq 2.5 ever come out?

This is a true sadness.. I do wish, along with many other wolfquest fans, That the game does not shut down, or for the shortest amount of time possible if a shut down is required.. Thank you for the warning, we will all have to remain calm, this is not the time to be hysterical...
"should we be hysterical?!?!"
"yes!"
"no!"
"MAYBE, But not right now..."
just trying to get some smiles out of this sad news, hope everyone is doing well.

Until we meet again...

I believe this quote should help ^^:
WQ Coordinator wrote: We will not know if we are shut down until as late as 10pm on June 30th, so I wanted to give you the heads up that if you come online on July 1st and the forums are shutdown, it is not a permanent shutdown, it has nothing to do with the release of 2.5 and should not delay it, and while it's a huge pain, it's nothing to worry about on your end.
Sorry to hear that Cana, it's quite a shame to see the game and forums be shut down for a bit, though I'm glad it's not permanent. Thanks for letting us know!

Thank you for the news Cana. I hope the forums do not have to be shut down, or if so for as little time as possible.

And that's really sad to hear....
Both Multiplayer and the forums will be taken down for the time being, and I assume the game development will be paused during the shutdown as well.
I'm still confused as to what the forums are....
Still, I hope the Multiplayer comes back soon... It'll be lonely without Multiplauer around....

That's a real shame, I been getting to liking wolf quest a whole lot. Hope everything goes ok. :) Thanks again for informing us about it, a heads up for what is gonna happen. But I believe we'll be fine, even if it takes a while, we have to be patient and wait for the best.

After reading the post, I could clearly understand about the budget cut, I'm surprised a bit though, but we all have to wait and see what happens tonight...I hope the best for the team, and everyone else, even if it means waiting for a long amount of time until what happens.

This is very depressing news... Thanks for the heads up though!
I hope the government can be back on it's feet in no time.

Game development right now is actually done mostly by non-state employees (eduweb), so game development will continue despite the potential shutdown.
Thanks for the avatar, Silverness!

Yes, you can always have single player games, because that program is on your computer not on the site so as long as your computer is working you can play singleplayer.
