I know, WolfQuest is still pretty addicting to me, even though I've played since 2008 (don't be fooled by my account age, I had to re-register).

And then, I'm not sure how to categorize this, but for people who want to move to a game with a lexicon-

Unfortunately names won't be added to the lexicon;

We do not have people/wolf names in the lexicon mostly because there are far too many names and spelling of names to be able to add them all, partially because people should be addressing others by their usernames anyway (which you can say if they’re in your game), and partially because we do not want players exchanging personal information, especially since we have many young players. The only ‘names’ in the lexicon are words that are commonly used in the English language, like shadow, rose, etc.

Alright, so now we have a great list to start with. I narrowed down the suggestions and we still have too many choices to fit in the game. So the next big step is to try to figure out if the combination of words/phrases actually makes sense. (So, for example, we wouldn't want to have something that says "When do you want to start?" but not have any time-related answers, or a response that doesn't relate to any questions or other parts of the game.) If you would all be so kind as to look at the updated list and let me know if you see anything that doesn't make sense, I'd really appreciate it.

Edit: the most important thing at this point would be to determine what should not be included because it doesn't match up with other responses. The lists are too long already (even after narrowing them down), so I'd rather not add new phrases at this point.

I checked through it, and honestly didn't find anything to take out that didn't make sense. To narrow the list down, some of the phrases with practically the same meaning will have to go- only have "Yay!" instead of "Woohoo!", or vice versa for instance.

I am a bit surprised that you're not including "hare" or "snowshoe hare" in the final list of animals, though. It's an animal that you can actually interact with in the multiplayer game.

And really, we should just replace 'rabbit' with 'hare'. We will also narrow down the locations as well... just didn't have time to do it before the list had to be submitted for the first draft within the game. So by all means, keep commenting on things like this, as well. Are there any locations that should be removed, or be more specific? Or any other categories that should be edited in some way?

Well from what I am thinking after looking through the final list again is; Excellent and Awesome in the exclamations - Excellent can be used in the same way as Awesome or vise versa.

As for territories - I'm thinking Creek because it's most commenly used for Slough Creek. Or if not, adding how creek could be used to describe other territories with "creek".
Also, meadow can be used in the same way as plain. So, plain would be the best to be taken out.
