Wᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ, ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ Vᴀʟɪᴀɴᴛ Oɪᴋᴏs Pᴀᴄᴋ. This, like many others, is semi-realistic. It is owned, operated, and enslaved cherished by its leaders, Alastor [me] and Vanguard [Captain Rora]. The duo came into contact not long ago and are still getting to know one another - though they've realized they compliment each other's personalities nicely. Creating a divine alpha pair. After dispersing from a pack they met in, they settled their own land, creating a new territory, new rules, and new lives for themselves. VO takes place in an unknown country, and even an unknown time. It's not clear if humans exist - it could before, after, or during their time though they are never spotted anywhere near the territory.

Vanguard and Alastor traveled for days, weeks, months - until finally wandering upon the land they now call home. The land was decided to be called "Valiant Oikos" meaning the home of the courageous. It's nestled away amongst mountain ranges, meaning the journey to their haven is quite difficult. The territory is vast, the food supply thriving, and the conditions perfect for a pack to take the reigns. Van and Al are doing quite well on their own, though they do welcome others to join them. ►DOMINANT ► The dominant is the alpha of the pack, the leader of all the ranks.
It is there job simply to keep the pack in order and in a well state.They are knowledgeable of the land, myths, ranks, members, and all that goes on.
They are of course the highest ranked and most respected of the clan, if there are no teachers or leaders of a rank; the alphas will train the student.
These wolves are chosen to lead because of their devotion to the clan, they have proved to do anything in their power to keep the pack safe, even if it means fatal to them.

►ELITE ► The elites are the wolves second in charge.
They are a highly respected rank, many members take their orders without hesitation,
however this rank is still respective of their alphas. When the dominants are gone, the elites will keep order in the clan.
They help by teaching new or young members their place in the pack, they participate in many things such as protecting and providing.

►CHIEF ► Chiefs are the leaders of ranks, they may have been given this role because they showed the best leadership
or simply because they were the most skilled and always got the job done.

►HEIR ► Sometimes, if the dominant has a litter or even has interest in a young pup,
they will claim them as heir, in case something happens to the alpha or elites -
there will be a wolf that was raised in a leadership environment and will surely be fit for the job even around 1 year of age.

►MYTH ► A myth is simply an elder wolf, usually around the age of 6 or 7
when other ranks become too much for them. They are wise and have much life experience.
The dominants and all other members respect them greatly, and the young wolves enjoy all the tales they have to share.

especially during spawning season when the water is low though over flowing with various fish!

►EXPLORER ► Living near such different out lands,
the dominant will often send out explorers past the territory boundaries. Looking for new water, herb, or food sources.
Often when the herd of prey leaves the land when winter grows harsh, they dwell in the near forest of the out lands.
Seekers and explorers go to bring back meals. A warrior may also join just in case.

►CHAPERONE ► Pups may join the family, and when they do
many adults will be too busy with their ranks to fully watch them or tend to them. Luckily there are chaperones.
They spend their days caring for the young generations. When no pups are present or have grown,
chaperones just assist others with any job that needs to be done.

►RIVAL ► Rivals are not so easily welcomed to the land.
If they enter the territory and pose a threat, the clan will attempt to kill them.

Physical Description:Build: Light, sleek & streamline, great for running.
Fur: Brook is a stunning gray tone that sometimes appears to be almost blue in the right light (but she isn't really blue), she has darker spots of gray/black on her back & muzzle. Her fur is a lot longer than most wolves due to her heritage of Tundra wolves.
Eyes: Brooks eyes are a dark shade of yellowish orange, they don't really out against her grayish white coat.
Personality: Brook is wise & intelligent, she sometimes feels left out as she lacks the strength and stamina of a warrior other higher ranks. Brook Is sweet to almost all wolves (except
for loners) and tolerant of other wolves in the pack. Brook will try to avoid fights or battles breaking out the best she can, see is fiercely loyal & good with herbs. Brook always tries to see the brighter side of things, to keep positive. Brook will always be willing to give a hand, even if it's outside her comfort zone. She is calm and collected.

Valiant Oikos will return in mid January. After the foul luck of work, a broken laptop, and holiday visits - the pack's activity will be halted.

Physical Description: Flower has mostly a silver pelt, splotched with a reddish brown color. She has a slender build for pure speed but a strong bite too.
Personality: Flower is a kind wolf to her closet friends and pack members, but be warned, she is a nonsense wolf and is not afraid to get a
little aggressive when needed to. Flower is brave for the pack during tough times and has an adventurous spirit that can never be tamed. But she can

Name: Chance (bc, why not.)
Age: 3 and 1/2 years.
Gender: Male.
Physical Description: Chance is a lean wolf. He is a bit taller than average, his long legs providing him an awkward sense of agility and stealth. However, there is not much bulk to this shaggy canine. He has adequate muscles that ripple under his shaggy coat so don't get the wrong idea of him, he's just more of the lanky type than the massive brute type. He has two small nicks on the outside of both ears- a trademark from the pack he dispersed from 2 and 1/2 years ago. His eyes hold the palest amber hue, and they flicker his emotions almost like a display despite his efforts to conceal them. His shaggy pelt is a mixture of almost all the natural colors, a distinct reddish tone marking the majority of his body. His back is almost dappled like a fawn's- don't remind him of that. x.
Personality: Chance is pretty much the epitome of 'chill.' This wolf hardly ever takes anything seriously- unless of course it really is indeed a serious matter. He's generally easy to please and finds enjoyment in even the smallest of matters. Chance isn't one to stay in one spot, so when duties aren't calling, he's out getting his nose into trouble most-likely. Chance however, despite his friendly and charming demeanor, is quite the stubborn wolf. He won't back down from a challenge, and sometimes it can be hard for him to admit his faults. Overall, Chance is your trusty canine companion who would do just about anything in the world for anyone.
Desired Rank: Fisher/Seeker/Warrior. Wherever the need is, this male doesn't mind stepping in.

Personality: Fiery, attentive, loyal, and decisive, not kind but not unkind. Impatient and intolerant towards traitors. Unwelcoming towards newcomers, but not hostile. She will do what it takes to get her job done, appreciates strong bonds, but does not go out of her way to make friends. Her raw passion makes up for her petite exterior. Lex falls in love too easily (both platonically and romantically) and builds up walls to prevent herself from showing any kind of perceived 'weakness'. Her priority is keeping her team safe, but she often wishes she could live a life without burdening herself with these high standards.
