What Themes Do You Like to Use When Naming Pups?

Pure randomness. Usually potato or bacon themed. Though I have also named pups arugula, mushroom, or whatever other random foodstuffs I can think of.

Personally I don't tend to stick to a specific theme when naming my pups, I usually just go with whatever comes to my head first. I do like some of the themes that have been listed here however, so perhaps I'll give them a go in the future.

I typically name them after objects and words. ...That actually sounds strange, but it's not. Examplez: Poncho, Boots, Apple, Mystery, etc. [Okay, I don't really use these one but you get what I mean]

Sometimes Hindu and various African names. But I most commonly give them Virtue names [Paitence, Comfort, etc.] ~



But then again there are those time when I just let loose, and name my offspring "Bob the Hamburger" or whatever

I enjoy using Welsh or Celtic names, I find they have an interesting ring to them. Not to mention, I come from a Welsh background, so I like to put Welsh names to use.

I always name them these: Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Gamma. No reference to ranks or anything, just naming them after Greek letters.

I mainly named them as gem stones like: Amethyst, Sapphire, Topaz, Aqua(or Marine, since the name is kinda long) Emerald, Peridot, Zircon, Diamond(or Crystal... Idk) and maybe Garnet... I never used that one before... .3.

Or when i ran out of ideas i simply use a name generator cx

I don't usually have a particular theme. I just go with what fits.

I always name them after my favourite characters. :") My wolf is named "Mike," referenced from Mike Zacharius from Attack on Titan, so I always end up naming the pups after characters from the same fandom, like Erwin/Levi/etc. Total weeb move, I know.
