(I apologize for this, but this will be the last time needed on this topic LOL. Could a mod please make the final author change to Skydust? Thanks!)

Re: What chat type is the better of the three?
I'd have to say the lexicon chat is my favorite for chatting with friends and enjoying the game.
The disabled chat is a close runner-up, though.

Re: What chat type is the better of the three?
Here is my opinion:
Lexicon- Rating 8/10
This is definetly my favorite and most used form of chat. This one let's you speak freely, and have fun. However, there is more danger along with it. For instance, you could be a target of cyber-bullying, or you could be lured into dangerous things. I would say this one isn't the best for our younger WolfQuesters, but for older members, it is a fun way to chat without as much restriction as the others.
Phrase- Rating 6/10
This one is a fun, safe chat if you just want to, well, be a wolf. You can also use this you want to be creative and see what kinds of sentences you can make. And if you don't want to be bothered my mate-beggars, bullies, etc; this is ideal. But, be sure to know that people tend to join, realize it's Phrase, and leave.
Disabled- Rating 4/10
If you have Skype or another messaging system, this may be ideal. We all know that lexicon is very restrictive, so and a friend could just use something else and turn off chat. It's also a way to get a way from annoying players, like Phrase. Also, this very safe. Come if you just want some peace and quiet.
So, that is my opinion.

Re: What chat type is the better of the three?
My previous answer used to be Lexicon, though, now, seeing all these mate-related servers and whatnot, they tend to annoy me, and even though I enjoy talking, I'd prefer disabled chat now. No need to hear/read people talking weird things about wolves, or pretending they are other animals, or asking for a mate in general. So yes, definitely, my choice would be the disabled chat.

I prefer disabled chat. It's more realistic, Wolves cannot talk in real life, Can they?

True, and because of the lexicon issues, my fave is actually disabled too! =PSpiritOfTruth wrote:I prefer disabled chat. It's more realistic, Wolves cannot talk in real life, Can they?

Yup. The only problem with disabled is it's hard to express wolf behavior, since there isn't an action for every wolf movement/action. (AKA Growling). So it's hard to tell people what your thinking.Skydust wrote:True, and because of the lexicon issues, my fave is actually disabled too! =PSpiritOfTruth wrote:I prefer disabled chat. Yeah, but the peace and quiet are still nice. But the limited communication is annoying; you're right.SpiritOfTruth wrote:Yup. Re: What chat type is the better of the three?
Well, I personally enjoy all three, each for a different reason...
Lexicon Chat is my personal favourite, but the restrictions get rather annoying. So do the weird words people make to replace them. It is probably the best for chatting and stuff, and probably most people who like to chat's favourite option.
Phrase Chat is pretty fun, but there's not many options to choose what you say, so it is hard to have a proper conversation. I think it's best for hunting and stuff.
Disabled Chat is quite fun when you are bored, but gets boring really quickly, because you can't talk to each other at all. Hunting and exploring are one of the only things you can do without talking to each other, but this option is probably the most realistic.
So out of these three chat options, I'd probably pick Lexicon.
