Hey guys,
How do you like your wolves on wolfquest?
Fast?
Fast wolves are just that, fast!
Useful for hunting quicker prey such as rabbits and to quickly kill off coyotes. Speed is nessicary to catch an elk on the run. However, with high speed comes low stamina. You will be like a cheetah; short bursts.
Strong?
More damage to prey and ememy wolves. Needed to bring down wolves with high stamina (and bulls!)
You would be like a leopard, slow but lethal when attacking.
or Distance?
A wolf of distance is one that is slower, but will not tire out as fast. You will also have increased health; meaning you can last longer in the social arena and bite longer when hunting an elk. You are like a Wildebeast, traveling for miles at a tireless pace.
For Overcast, stamina is her greatest stat, with strength at a close second! Speed is at the lowest value, go figure!
In a fight, you would probaly lose to her.
In the hunt, she is useful for making the final blows (when the elk is not running
)
In a race, well, she will most likely lose.
Now you know were my vote went, where is yours going?
How 'bout you guys? (and reasons?)
Thanks for voting and giving your opinion everyone!
Keep it up,
Overcast

I usually do speed almost the same as stamina, but a little more than stamina. Strength is usually really low. I honsetly don't think strength is that important. Speed and Stamina are much more useful for hunting, in my opinion.

I usually have a high stamina, a medium-low strength, and a low speed.
Stamina is so I can run for a long time without slowing down to a walk, and I don't need speed very much. I like having enough strength so it only takes three bites to kill a coyote, though.

I sometimes have high stamina, medium speed and low strength. Or sometimes I have high strength, high speed and low stamina.
We run across the plains of the blazing sun
We run with our glowing pelts in the flowing wind
We play on the swaying grass
We stand near a soaring eagle
We howl to the starry night
We are wolves, born to be free

My preferences are for equal stats in a wolf; it makes them balanced so that they are not too strong, and not too weak; this proves helpful to me when I'm hunting.
This way, my wolf doesn't lack in speed, stamina or strength, which I find has its own benefit.
Nothing interesting happens.

I usually like lots of speed and endurance, I don't think strength is that important, at least in multiplayer; and it irritates me when it takes forever to get somewhere. So I get speed and stamina around 2 or 3 while strength is rather low, around -4 or -5.

I used to try to make my wolf as small as possible. I started making my wolf really fast and sort of a good distance runner. I started outrunning the elk. Now I try to make the wolf sort of strong, but more of a fast distance runner.

I usually make my wolf have equal [high] stamina and speed. And low strength. I find having more stamina helpful and useful.

Yeah, I choose the speed and stamina combo because I can go fast for long distances... which for me is a great deal >:]

Interesting topic! ^.^
I always give my wolf 4 stamina, 1 speed and -4 stregth. So I can be running forever with an enough fast speed and stregth is not that useful for me because I don't hunt much, only on MP with other players to help me. Running too slow and for too small distances annoys me, haha!

Indeed; then your wolf isn't stopping all the time.

I like full stamina and very low strength; my wolf doesn't have to rest and it can run the whole day if I want to

on multiplayer i put my strength right to the bottom so i have no strength, and i make the stamina and speed almost equal so that i can run fast and run fast for ages. Its brilliant.
On single player i am mainly equal on all three depending.
