WolfQuest: AE Login issues?

I've been trying to log into WQ:AE with my 2.7 login information, but for some reason it keep telling me it can't find my account. I even went back and changed the email and password, but it still won't work. I was wondering if this is a new bug since it was just implemented, or if perhaps It's something on my end.
I have both versions of WQ on Steam, and I have even logged in and logged back out of my 2.7 account, but I'm still getting the same message.
