I, Predator (By Kuma Games and Animal Planet)

Post by Cama » Thu Nov 25, 2010 11:55 am

I,Predator is an awesome game by Kuma Games and Animal Planet. The main goal is simple: Survive. So far, there are only three episodes;

Sharks V. Seals (*Blood Warning and Aminous Music, usualy occuring when a shark is nearby*)

Lions V. Buffalo

Cheetahs V. Gazells

Here is the link to their current site; http://www.ipredator.tv/ Also, I,Predator is free to play.

There is no actual ESRB rating (atleast, not one i can find), but I would rate then E10+ (for violance), except for the Sharks V. Seals with it's blood. I would rate it T.

(I voted the first one on the poll)

The game seems very interesting...i'll probably play the cheetah vs. gazelle first :)

I've tried downloading the game, but unfortunately it keeps getting stuck at 88%. It looks like a really neat game though.^^ I'll try downloading it when I get a new computer.

I've played this game quite a few times before, and I still do. Its quite a good game, I'd say that my favourite one to play out of the three options would be the Cheetah vs. Gazell. I say that because, it seems that a lot of people go on this server, and I find it more easier to get the hang of than the others.

The Shark vs. Seal one is quite good as well. Although, I'm not overly keen on the Lion vs. Buffalo game. It really does seem to lag a lot, even when there are hardly any players on the server :U

My favorite is the cheetah one, also. Reasons: Players can't abuse their defences (in Lions, the buffalo always go torro on the lions and keep doing it!), it has awards, it doesn't crash as much, and you can have your own individual group that doesn't try and be anoying. I would probably liek sharks more, but it crashes before 1 minute with a "stop error"...

I've played this only once before, I was a gazelle. This is a quite neat game, and should play it more often.

My Kuma Games ID is Charlotte (simple as that), so you might see me around sometimes. :3

This game is fun, apart from the fact that you get hungry WAY too quickly

In a way... yes... It is a free download, like WolfQuest, and also is online, like WolfQuest.

Just wonderin', but does this got some sort of tutorial level or single player mode? I'm a bit "timid" when it comes to online games (Doesn't feel like ruining the game for everyone and gettign insulted D:)

Well, there are (sadly) no tutorial modes, but the controls are like WolfQuest's. Here is the list of controls/ what they do:

W= Forward
S= Walk Backwards
D= Shuffle right
A= Shuffle left
Shift= Run (for about 20 or 30 seconds) (each time you run, the yellow stamina bars decrese one-by-one for each time you run)
Mouse 1= Attack (if available, always for predators, some times for both predator and prey)
Mouse 1= Struggle 1
Mouse 2= Struggle 2
R= Eat/drink
Y= Typing Chat
U= Team Typing Chat
K= Microphone chat
Space bar= Jump (for land episodes)

Also, I don't think you will ruin any games, considering most people rarely chat on the games. You will be ultra lucy if someone even uses the voice/talking/microphone chat. Also, you aren't alone if yoy get a "Stop Error" on any of the games. It happens soem times.

This mainly happens on teh Cheetah episode as teh cheetah. You don't get as hungry as quickly on the Lions one.

I just want to add that you are actually able to change the control buttons but press ESC and going to the Options tab. Then just double click on one of the actions and press what button you wish to use for that action, then press apply then ok. Basically, its sort of similar to WolfQuest in those sort of terms :)

And Cama, remember to try and avoid double posting, using the edit feature would be just fine, ok? Thanks!
I just noticed before you posted. Sorry, forgot (darn you, short-term memory loss!)

I see. I kinda feel like playing the Shark one first (+ Jaws music - RAWRZZZ) because... Sharks. And blood. It's educative in many ways.

Just downloaded this; I've only played the one with Sharks and Seals. I love being a seal, lulz.

I changed all of my controls because I didn't like what they were to begin with; I like the arrow keys to move. =3

About to try the Lion one.....

I was a little wary too, but when I started playing, I was pretty much alone the whole time. As mentioned before, people rarely chat. =3

Oh, and my Kuma account is Kivia. As always.
