Re: Flock Around the Clock
Wolves seem to snack on a lot of ground squirrels when they can catch them. That would be good for the journey mission. There would be villages of them but they would be fast and can dissapear into their holes. Another suggestion would be beaver, big Horn sheep, and voles. Especially for the yearlin...

Re: Mission Simpossible
Oh and if there are issues with humans to be brought in theres the frequent issue of people WHO DON"T LISTEN!!! and go on closed off trails that go too close to wolves rendezvous sites. this has happened every time I'm in yellowstone for the summer near Hayden valley to watch the wapiti lake pack; t...

Re: Mission Simpossible
Another one could be you have to dig your pup's from a collapsed den/ teach pups how to hunt/ fight. Mission to get to den in time to give birth. If you don't make it in time you'd have to individually bring newborn pups to the den from shallow dugout den. Also catching small prey/ mousing. Win at p...

Re: Mission Simpossible
Destroy the coyote den? Defend your mate against other potential mates. You could have a mates trial period where if you don't get certain things completed such as bringing down an elk with them, then they're more likely to stop pursuing in interest of you. Possibly defending the carcass and look fo...

Re: The Fate of the Mate
The idea to revive is a good option to put in, I do love the idea of finding a new mate if your current one dies, it makes it sorta realistic?? honestly, I hate that the mate dies and then instantly comes back, I find it quite irritating sometimes. I think they just said in this first part of the f...

Re: The Fate of the Mate
Mate death or even being run off could also be caused by dispersal rivals coming in to take over, usually the female will pair up with the male. At least that's the case in some packs. We're not really sure why though, the wolf watchers I was talking to when we were watching the wapiti lake pack sai...

Re: The Fate of the Mate
I voted D but would prefer the chance to revive them once for at least the first two difficulty levels and then for the second set of the hardest levels they would just die; no revivals.

Re: Hooves of Hurt
What's neat is with hunting it doesn't quite matter if you're the biggest and baddest. 06' wasn't the biggest yet she could take down elk on her own, it's also got to do with pure skill, luck, and timing. But having patches of fur being implemented in the spring and summer months would be cool becau...

Re: If You Could Be Any Other WolfQuest Animal What Would Yo
That would be cool but its neat with wolfquest; killing coyotes because that's typically what wolves do if any coyote is near the territory, they would rip them to shreds because coyotes will kill pups if given the chance. It teaches us that wolves have no sympathy for other species; and little in r...

Re: Ride of the Wapiti
What's spectacular is the ability to get the elk to act like a real herd. But I'd have to say it wouldn't actually be too hard to find a den a lot of times wolves modify badger and coyote dens if they aren't going back to an old densite they used before. One wolf used a dip in the ground for her whe...

Re: Ride of the Wapiti
I have to agree with Quikke and Weylenn - a sprint function would certainly be nice. Fourth-ing this notion! I'm fifthing it! I agree I usually go for a strength and stamina wolf so this will surely help! This would be wonderful as a lope the animation looks great! As I rewatch it and look at wolve...

Re: Ride of the Wapiti
Ohhh okay makes sense! Usually when I see it it's just straight out or a tad lower. Not sure what's throwing me off maybe it's just because I'm so used to seeing the other model run. The back looks like a regular gallop but I think it's the front bit throwing me off; probably just because of the ang...

Re: Ride of the Wapiti
This is absolutely fantastic!! Great work you guys; I can't wait to see how this works in game! No one will be able to hold a light to wolf quest as a stimulator. Maybe the elk who fall back are the weaker ones. I think I know what seems off with the wolf though, the head isn't bobbing much (or poss...
