The current problem is about getting the source, which proves problematic in terms of legal stuff.

Oh? And how would that work, with WQ being offline to 2 of 3 parts.. only 1 part being multiplayer and that one starts AFTER the player customized the character.. :) That would've to be changed first or maybe a premium version of the game altogether, though I doubt they'd do that since WQ was suppos...

I'll be honest; even if WQ gets a new funder, I'm not sure if that'll fix the problem in longterm... Maybe the new funder could be interested for the idea of open-source, since they'd only have to host the servers... maybe. But that's just a theory. <3 A pretty far-fetched one. Not even eduweb or the Admin ever answered. I doubt they care about WQ's future at all ^^° I don't want to but I do believe nightangelwolf is right. MP Mode will die, the site will still be offering the downloads, while the forums go offline. With the bugged singleplayer-mode, WQ will die too.

Tried to reach EduWeb yesterday, let's see if they react. I never got a reply from the admin though... : \
EDIT: Just sent an email to Minnesota Zoo as well. If they care just a tid-bit about the game they should answer. If not, only the web knows what'll happen to WQ.

Which is too bad, because WolfQuest never became what the trailer promised... ^^ We never were able to use the social interaction stuff outside singleplayer for example.. If they'd just release the source.. o_o' Yes yes, I'll stop repeating myself!
