Re: Ideas for New Episodes V2
Levels Suggestions: Consider renaming them from Pretty Easy, Challenging, Arduous, and Bring it On to something like Easy, Somewhat Realistic, Realistic, Very Realistic. I suggest this because the main purpose of the game is still to be educational, and so having difficulty levels that are difficult...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes V2
If you guys are able to implement dynamic day-night cycles please consider making the days longer in the summer and shorter in the winter, and the nights shorter in the summer and longer in the winter. Also, I would think that injuries to wild wolves would mean almost certain death. Hopefully we kee...

Re: I Smell Elk!
Given the title of this thread, I wonder if the new scent system will only apply to elk, or if will it apply to other WolfQuest animals as well? Hopefully the latter, but I think this will be difficult for the devs to figure out since I don't think players want sniffing out scent trails the only way...

Re: Community and Competition
such as adding dispersals from rival packs to yours Wolves almost never do that. Yea. What I mean by that though is when you are successful in breaking apart a rival pack, you do create a bunch of dispersals. Perhaps you have to have some success eliminating some rivals in the game before the abili...

loboLoco wrote Of course, we also see plenty of anti-social behavior in abuse reports Hmm. If anything, it may be wiser to keep pack fighting and competition in single-player. I imagine allowing multiplayer pack fighting would require intensive moderation from you guys. Single-player experiences ar...

Re: What's Your Favourite Video Game?
Far Cry Primal. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in animal/survival games (which I assume is everyone here). You don't get to play as an animal (except for an owl), but as a human in playing in the stone ages, you will have the ability to tame wild beasts and work with them. Oh and btw, ye...

Re: Announcing WolfQuest 3: Anniversary Edition!
I remember visiting the forums every day after school just to click on some of the Google ads to help keep the site alive. I am sure many other users did as well. In fact, I remember talking about it at one point.loboLoco wrote:

Re: Announcing WolfQuest 3: Anniversary Edition!
This is perfect. I still remember the dark days when the users were all trying to save Wolfquest while the admins were all set on killing it. As an aside Dave, most games--even triple A mainstream games--have marked differences between mobile and PC versions of their games. I do not think any user c...

Re: Mapmaking
Does this mean when we get the new download we're going to lose the old Amethyst Mountain map? Because I would like to keep the fall version and spring versions of this map if possible. Also, I didn't realize people attempt to play a game like this on mobile. That's not ideal at all.

Re: I Smell Elk!
I had to login to comment to this. WOW. This is the best gameplay feature update imo in the last 3-4 years. Just amazing. Lost for words. As an aside, if you are concerned with younger players getting frustrated perhaps scent trails could be made longer and easier to find according to the difficulty...

Great. Please keep updating us Dave. The long periods of no information is resulting in fewer people hanging around the forum.

Re: Community and Competition
Wonderful news! Complex wolf on wolf/pack vs pack interactions are precisely what Wolfquest needs the most. Adding more ambient animals and new maps are only superficial means of advancing this game.
