Re: The Long and Winding Lamar

Holy crap, it all looks amazing! I mean...it looks real ; you can barely tell the real footage and the game apart. And that terrain-sculpting tool thing you were using to make the sandbars must be really fun to use. That's so cool how you can actually sculpt and make the terrain how you want, right ...

Re: I Do...Do You?

Lol, the hare thing reminds me of the time my dog Luci caught a bird and ran off with it. xD But back to the topic, I agree with previous posters that the seemingly little things, like the head tilt and the snow sticking to the animals, really add depth to the game. And I like the fact that, with th...

Re: Bite Club: Refining the wolf fight

Holy crap! The wolves look great (the fur and lighting look absolutely amazing!), and the fighting is looking really good! I especially like the fact that wolves can dodge each others' attacks; that will definitely make things more interesting.

Re: Stand Out From the Pack!

Just one thing, the howl animation looks off to me. I don't think the ears fold back enough? I noticed that also--I think this is possibly because the ears seem to be just folding backward instead of rotating and folding back as they would in real life. I’m not sure how easy this would be to fix (I...

Re: Stand Out From the Pack!

I like the idea of adding coats modeled after specific real Yellowstone wolves. As Polynesia said, that would be a nice way to remember them.

Re: Playing Dead

I think the respawn point and the xp loss seem like the best options. They're still definitely a penalty, but not one that's extremely irritating and makes you lose progress. You can eventually make up the xp, and you can go from the respawn point. So it's a penalty, but it's more of a learn-from-yo...

I love how fluffy that wolf looks! And I especially like how the confident tail and back ears emotes look.

Re: Our Douglas-firs are Tree-mendous

They're beautiful; they look real! Also, I liked the bit of real Yellowstone that was included in the vid. I'd love to be able to take a trip there some day, it's beautiful.

I love how much more interactive the NPC wolves are going to be! Gotta love the bloopers, lol. And I'm loving that fluffy wolf face at 2:07.

Re: The Story So Far

Yes, anyone who purchased the game on Steam or itch.io (via WolfQuest.org) can get it -- it'll just be a second game that you can download. Okay, thank you Dave. Just making sure :D So since my mom is technically the one who purchased it (and I'm pretty sure she doesn't have that email anymore sinc...

Re: WolfQuest merchandise discussion

Being an ecology simulation. I think goods That are sold in WQ stores should be eco-friendly. And why are we trapped in only wolves themselves? I also think we can also make goods themed from Non-Playable animals or wolves interacting with them-such as mugs with picture of moose-wolf combat or elks...

The new courtship system and wolf personalities make things really interesting and less predictable, and the head tracking is a pretty cool addition.
