I usually prefer the forest. It provides much camouflage, and there are suitable dens located there as well.
On some occasions, I will select higher-ground in the hills, where you can observe from a good view and feel more relaxed and at ease than on lower ground.
I think this counts as stupid/silly .. When I first played the game ( singleplayer ) I had absolutely NO idea how to run. I was walking after this rabbit, unable to catch it and I was just pressing all the buttons to find the run button. Eventually I gave up and just questioned it on Google.
I prefer to hunt, especially if I have a good amount of health + stamina at the time. If I have a low enough amount of health and not able to hunt/run properly, I'll end up scavenging.
But the process of hunting is fun - therefore I usually do, and most times successful.
1. because they usually fill me up more than a hare, and
2. because i find it fun - tracking the herd, scattering it and bringing down one of the elk. The whole process is fun
But for a snack ( and for a bit of fun ), I like to chase and eat hares as well.
http://www.wolfquest.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28012 I read this topic and said, "my mate is pretty smart" SO! What is the BEST thing your mate has done? My mate is really smart! Whenever I'm like, 60 meters away from the den, he'll come back to the den, feed the pups, and stay there and watch the...
One of my horrifying moments would have to be at the Cattle Ranch. I jumped the fence, quickly looking around for a small figure ( the calf ) so when I did eventually find it, the dogs had already started barking. I ate as much as I could, when I thought i had about 10 seconds to escape, but BOOM ! ...
100% true. Way too many carcasses. I was walking in a direct line when suddenly about 2-3 carcasses popped up one after the other, and were not located in scent vision from a distance before I discovered them. I was like woaaa :? Also, what Ninnu said: they attract a lot of predators. Then those pre...
When I sit/lie down in MP other players cannot seem to see me do this action, and I can't see them do it either .. Oh and when I went into the water, I went sorta 'under the map' and couldn't get out, haha.
^ Yes you can have snow on multiplayer I was just on there, but I noticed that when I sat/lied down, other players couldn't see me do that action, and I couldn't see them do this either... But other than that, it's awesome !
Singleplayer: When I reach the hunting ground I have chosen to go to, I find the scent trail and follow it until I see the herd. I then circle the herd, finally selecting the weakest female elk. I scatter the herd, then single out the one I have chosen. When I catch up with it, I either grab onto it...
