Re: Congratulations to Mexican Wolves F749 & M740!

Wow, that's fantastic news! I've actually gone there a couple of times and met those wolves, so that's even more meaningful to me. Those pups are just so cute! That's great that they're getting more Mexican Gray wolves in the population; it's really quite vital that that happens even more.

Re: . The Northern Mockingbird .

Wow, interesting article. I have Northern Mockingbirds around my house (only the front yard, never the backyard, probably due to the dogs, yet we have many other birds in the back), and think they are absolutely beautiful birds. I love the appearance of the underside of their wings while in flight. ...

Re: - Cardinals -

I can't even count how many Northern Cardinals I have where I live. Sadly, we only have one couple, and they're about fifteen years old at least. They're fun to watch, and easy to identify.

Re: Eastern Bluebirds

Unfortunately I don't. I went to photograph them this morning, but they weren't there. Apparently, they have flown off already! I thought I had seen some very small little blue colored birds, and now I have my answer. Anyways, sorry you couldn't see them, but here are some other ones: http://www.bur...

Re: The American Kestrel Discussion

I don't know much about Kestrels, but I certainly find them to be striking birds. I find all birds of prey interesting, and was happy to gather more information about them here!
I can't wait to find out more.

Eastern Bluebirds

I absolutely love bluebirds. When I moved into my current house, I noticed that there were two bluebird homes outside. My mom and I decided to clean them out one spring. They didn't come. They didn't work for a while. Then, this spring, for the first time in quite a few years, according to our next ...

Re: General Hummingbird Discussion

I absolutely love birdwatching/identification, and it's quite a reward after watching dull-colored winter birds, to see beautiful displays of vibrant colors on hummingbirds. I only have two kinds of hummingbirds where I live; the Ruby-throated, and the Black-chinned. It's great to hear stories about...

I remember watching this one! It was almost impossible to find! I really enjoyed it. It's amazing how much of a bond he formed with those pups!

Re: What are your ideas about a book about wolves.

I am in the process of writing one right now. It's called, Banjo , and so anyway, it's just about a dog named Banjo who joins a wolf pack, and he and his new friend are accused of murder, and they have to go out to prove themselves innocent. In my opinion, wolf books should teach what gentle creatur...

Re: The White Wolf with Blue Eyes

I absolutely love that series! I watched it a couple of months ago, and thought it was great. I can't stand those series where there's a preview full of pictures of wolves from Google Images, and they have casting calls, and get characters, and then three years later there's no progress. The creator...

Re: most annoying thing your mate on wq has done

I have to say THE most annoying thing that ever happened to me was when my mate trapped me between him, a carcass, and an extremely angry bear. Luckily, I made it out-- dead, not alive. We were somewhere around Little Butte and our den was in Bison Peak Cutoff, so our pups were safe-- luckily!
