Re: Big Bad Bull Bison

This was such a surprise! I've always wanted Bison in WQ, even if it's only small bull herds for now. I can't believe they will be here in a few weeks! I can't wait to start hunting them. :D

Re: Multiplayer Momentum

You guys are doing an EPIC job with multiplayer. I appreciate the new sleep mechanics and the FAQ. Multiplayer will now allow players to collaborate like a real wolf pack :wolf:. I was wondering though, will we have a winter season in multiplayer? Can we choose which season while creating a game?

Wolf stopped dreaming? (A.E)

Yeah.. lately I've noticed my wolf has stopped having dreams. It's been months since my wolf has dreamt. I have the newest updates. I'm wondering if this is a bug, or the dreams were removed?

One of my main stratagies to get rid of a cougar is too annoy it enough so it charges, then I lead it away from the carcass.
Thank you! I did that and it worked! I might also try it on bears. :D

How to get rid of cougar? (A.E)

I play on Accurate. Recently, I've had a hard time getting rid of a cougar from my elk carcass. It doesn't matter what time my wolf wakes up, the cougar will still spawn. It doesn't matter how long I sleep away from the carcass, the cougar will still be eating it. It doesn't even matter if I reload ...

Re: Killing Bull elk (Your experiences0

On A.E, I've ran into small bachelor herds. Until recently, I've never bothered with them. But I started to test the waters and go after something different. Bull elk in my opinion, are quite easy to kill especially if you have full health. So far I have killed bull elk who have half of their health...

Wolfquest is getting more and more dynamic every week. And finally the pups know how to swim (albeit novice swimmers) :D

Wolfdogs

Hello! These past few months I've been looking into wolfdogs. Wolfdogs are one of the most confused creatures out there. They're neither wolf or dog. They're both. Unfortunately, since they're both, ownership can be challenging. For one thing, wolfdogs can't be eligible for vaccines, at least from a...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes/Future Updates

I like the idea of being able to carry small objects like boots or sticks and being able to take them to your den for your pups to play with, maybe with a side quest relating to collecting objects (possibly with achievements/EXP rewards if you collect them all and take them to your territory.) I al...

Re: Crazy WQ Happenings!

Saw 2 separate herds together, and formed 1 "superherd" xD. The Lamar Canyon Pack is replacing the Junction Butte's former territory, The Junction Butte is replacing the Wapiti Lake's former territory, and the Wapiti Lake is replacing the Lamar Canyon's former territory. Pretty cool! That also means...

I love the amount of detail being put into this game, I've never seen anything else like it. Those wolf puppies are so cute by the way :wolf: ! Can't wait to start picking out dens.

Re: Why is this Wolf's tail curly?

I'm no expert on wolves or wolfdogs, but I agree that wolf has an exceptionally curled tail, even for the carriage height at that moment! That photo apparently originates from Wolves of the Rockies, a nonprofit advocacy group. I didn't find it on their main website, but I did find it on their faceb...

Why is this Wolf's tail curly?

So I found this photo of the Lamar Canyon pack, and I couldn't help but notice one of the wolves has a very curly dog-like tail. Wolves are never suppose to have such curly tails. I found it interesting and maybe the wolf is actually a high content wolfdog? Or perhaps it's just an odd quirk. Or mayb...
