Re: New things found in AE's files (Spoilers)
This is a very neat find! That calf texture set definitely appears to be a Bison calf, which implies to me that, at some point anyway, there were/are plans to include bison calves in the game. I imagine that the footprint for what appears to a Black Bear would be of similar purpose. I wonder if ther...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes/Future Updates
I definitely agree with what Neamara had to say about the den radar. The den radar is hard to use if you aren't constantly watching it and using it along with scent view. There could maybe be some sort of different music that plays as you get closer. Or maybe just make it easier to see the actual de...

Re: Slough Creek Release Date!
It's hard to believe that it's already almost here! I'm so excited to play the new Slough Creek episode, we've waited so long for this and yet here it is! This is truly the greatest Christmas gift a WolfQuest fan could ever ask for.

Re: Happy Howlidays from WolfQuest!
It's amazing to see how far the game has come over the past few years, it has been a long journey but also a fun one, and I'm glad that I've been able to follow it from the start. I've been watching these development blogs from the beginning, and it feels like it was just the other day that the team...

Re: Some New Stuff (including v1.0.5e public beta)
That genetic coat color readout is very useful, in the past it has been very difficult to determine your wolf's coat color when creating a wolf. That's such a useful feature. The changes to how you pick up pups and food should be helpful in Slough Creek too, though it admittedly might take some time...

Re: Ambassador Wolf Coats
Wow, I was really not expecting that we'd be getting a new set of wolf coats in the game this soon! I'm so glad that the team decided to have these new wolf coats be based upon the wolves of the IWC! That's something I've wanted to see in the game for quite a while, and I'm so glad that the team cho...

> Ability to order your pups to go into dens when there is a predator attack > Coyote/Fox/Bear dens in maps - Yes I know that bears wander with cubs. I mean hibernation dens > A rare chance of seeing other species of predator hunting ungulates > You can 'command' your mate/vice versa > Actual, Visi...

Re: How Long Have You Played WolfQuest?
I joined in September of 2018. That's the date when I bought Wolfquest 2.7. :D Before that, I started playing Wolfquest when it was a beta/free demo? I don't remember exactly, but you could play on Amethyst Mt. and then a window popped up saying you had to buy the game to play further. I di...

Re: Multiplayer Public Beta is Almost Here!
It's so great to see that multiplayer for WolfQuest Anniversary Edition is finally available to most WolfQuest players. It's a real honor to be able to test out new things that are coming to a game before the official release. In doing so, we get to essentially affect the future of the game and get ...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes/Future Updates
What I would love in a future version would be extra customizations that you can unlock by purchasing or if you hit a certain amount of experience points. For example: a rare blue eye color can be unlocked if you get 200k experience points, but you can get it faster should you choose to purchase th...

Re: Nostalgic WolfQuest moments
Just in general, WolfQuest 2.7 gives me a lot of nostalgia nowadays, mainly because I remember spending hundreds of hours playing it before the Anniversary Edition was released and have so many great memories from it. The maps from the original game and the soundtrack from each one are probably what...

Re: A Medley of Multiplayer Matters
Like Neamara said, it is a little sad to see that the old private games system from WolfQuest 2.7 is being replaced and essentially "retired". However, the ability to restrict access to your multiplayer game on a far more person-by-person basis will definitely be a much more user-friendly system, an...

Re: First Recorded Bison Kill!
TBH this relied on a glitch. You notice how every time the bison stops running I grab it and let go? That's because their AI prioritized an 'escaping sprint' that was added with the beta update. This was necessary due to the fact that the bison do less damage while running than when stood still. Th...

Re: First Recorded Bison Kill!
I already saw this video on YouTube a while ago, but the tactics you used to kill the bison still fascinate me. I guess that this shows that it is possible to kill a Bison with just you and your mate, but it definitely takes a lot of luck, good techniques, and patience to kill them. I'm sure that th...

Re: The Bugs Board
It's really interesting to see the process that the team goes through in order to fix bugs, glitches and issues and how they look at feedback reports. Even if it's one of the more mundane tasks of game development, it's still an important part of it, and it's really interesting to get an inside look...
