This seems to be happening on a small percentage of computers with the latest patch. We're releasing another patch later today, so wait for that and hopefully it'll solve the problem.

LOVE the new update. WolfQuest has never looked better! But just a heads up, if anyone knows what that "secret" is in LR, I'd love to know. Shoot me a PM!

New patch is out! Sorry for yet another one so soon, but it has a few key fixes. (And I apologize to those using the WQ game launcher -- this is a full game download due to problems some people had with yesterday's patch -- this was the only way to completely solve them.)
Fixes:
* Reduced (or possibly eliminated) extreme lag in multiplayer games (for players who have experienced that).
* Reduced lag in the Main Menu (for players who have experienced that).
* Prevent multiple cougars on rocky perches in multiplayer.
* Fixed missing terrain in Slough Creek-Springtime on Fastest quality level.
* Reduced odds of rain in Lost River (until we improve rain performance).
* Dusk and Dawn lighting tweaks in Lost River.
If you're still having extreme lag in the Main Menu, try disabling the little birds that flit around: Press and hold right-shift and the L key, then press the B key. (That will reset after leaving the Main Menu.)

yes, your game launcher is currently downloading the game -- it's just a big download so will take awhile, and I'm sorry about that, but it was the only way to get solve the problem some people were having.

FINALLY downloading this- lol my life has been so busy as of late but I finally have time to play XD
I feel like, since we have Bob the Bear, we should have Khan the Cougar, just so we can all scream KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN at random during gameplay
Edit:
Spoiler warning...
Are we supposed to be able to get the "Hello, Kitty!" achievement from bothering the domestic cat at the police station? lol

Finally going to get around to downloading this today! Looking forward in properly experiencing all of the new features - especially the cougars since they seem pretty awesome. :]

Ugh, that stinks Hopefully you can get a new system soon o.o
Do you use an antivirus? That can help stop viruses. It doesn't catch all of them, but it definitely helps! I use one called Avast-- it has paid programs, but it also offers a really good free antivirus (and if you stick with their free program long enough, they start offering you discounts on their paid services too). So if you don't have an antivirus, I'd highly recommend it-- I've been using it for about 3 years now and the only real issues I've had have been adware (which Avast doesn't cover, unfortunately-- but there are other programs you can use to get rid of that). And even those were few and far between. So I'd highly recommend it

blackbaeuty, I'm assuming your talking about the mobile version. The developers are the ones working on the game and they will release it whenever it's possible. Just be patient. It's not the end of summer anyways, and if it takes longer for the release just respect that.

@blackbaeuty: Please review the first post-
loboLoco wrote:Our target release date is sometime in the second half of June -- first with the Mac/Win update, and then the iOS version, followed by the Android version. So the latter may slip into early July, depending how it goes.
You might want to take a look at this if you haven't seen it already.
