I agree with SolitaryHowl. I especially like the cougar and bison idea, after all it is Yellowstone.SolitaryHowl wrote:I like the area tinting idea, and the ideas with the scent trails.
I also like the idea of adding the cougar or another animal (like bison?) to add a bit of difficulty, but I understand that will require very strong sales.
Maybe changing the AI of prey so they are more likely to dodge. Like how rabbits zig-zag, dart all around, eventually vanishing into their hole, etc. I've never seen a rabbit run in a straight line away from a predator...
Maybe these things can be added in a DLC or something down the line, if sales go very well?

Re: WQ: Tablet version: Wolf customization options
Most wolves' eye colours are yellow (or shades of yellow, like amber), though. It is VERY rare an adult wolf will have blue or green eyes, for example...so I can see why they are keeping their eyes yellow.mimpi1000game wrote:I like the idea but i think the wolf eye color is only yellow and this is don't realistic

I fully support all the customizations. Tattered ears, new fur, and radio collars? It's going to be awesome! I can't wait for the release of 2.7!

Wolves can also have shades from not only yellow and amber, but white as well. Maybe we can have a slider on the eye coloring? From an amber to yellow to white maybe?

Hay, maybe, when we have enough funds we could make are pups the way we want them to look like?
but that would give us the options of the fur of the parents, for the pups of cores

It would be neat to have more pup colors but if you look at current realistic pups there are normally only a few colors, black, or grey/ two-toned. Customizing the pups kind of takes away the realism of the game which is the games entire point. It's supposed to 'mix' the genetic makeup of the two parents

Re: WQ: Tablet version: Wolf customization options
that's what I meant though, but you would have a slide and shade them, like say you would want them to be a little lighter? or darker?
that's what I meant by that

Ah okay, makes sense:3 i think there should still just be a larger range of shading, because randomized is always exciting because you never know what youre going to get.

Re: WQ: Tablet version: Wolf customization options
I guess, but maybe if there is a turn on and off butten we could have a shader slider thing.
and we could have it ubuve or blow the pups name, then you can change the fur of your pups color with out looking at a pic or what your pup looks like. So then it is still a suprise

Re: WQ: Tablet version: Wolf customization options
The current system (albeit broken with the latest release) in place for pups reflects a combination of your wolf's and its mate's coat colors; I believe tints (e.g. the tint of your wolf, if you altered the sliders) do affect the pups' colors, as well, but I could be wrong. This thread gives a pretty in-depth explanation, though some of the links (for me) do not work.

So, as far as "extra" customization for pups (in the way of sliders), I personally don't find it necessary if indeed (your) tints are already reflected in their resulting color; the current system is fairly realistic either way.

Re: WQ: Tablet version: Wolf customization options
I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this before - ripped ears! Or do wolves get their ears ripped by other wolf, bear, etc...?
Re: WQ: Tablet version: Wolf customization options
I've seen lots of dogs with tears in the ears so I would assume wolves can get them too. Ears are an easily damaged spot so I assume in a brutal encounter with either a rival wolf or another predator they would likely be bitten.Rain wrote:I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this before - ripped ears!
