Re: Wolf Documentaries
I love Living with Wolves! Wolves at Our Door isn't as good in my opinion, it doesn't have as much emotion and you don't get attached to anyone as much, In Living with Wolves it tells about the wolves and the people with them :) its just much cuter/better/awesomer :) oh yes and i have seen The Story of Black Wolf, it was good too

Re: Wolf Documentaries
I saw Living With Wolves a few months ago, and I really liked it! You can find it on YouTube. Still about two hours, but very moving. About a month ago on either Animal Planet or the Discovery Channel I saw this documentary called "Man Vs. Wolf." It was about wolf biologists in Washington state trying to find wolves in the area. Interesting.

Re: Wolf Documentaries
Just watched a newer wolf documentary called Expedition Wolf. Was about wolves returning to the cascade mountains and moving south. Thought it was pretty good and I enjoyed both Part 1 and Part 2. ^^

Re: Wolf Documentaries
The ones I can remember off the top of my head are:
Gray Wolves:
-Rise of the Black Wolf
-The Wolf that Changed America
-Wolves of Labrador
-Running with Wolves
-Living with Wolves
-Wolves at Our Door
-Imax Wolves
-Wolves:A Legend Returns to Yellowstones
-Coldwars:Wolves and Buffalo
-America the Wild-"Inside the Wolf Pack" episode
-The Pack-"Wolf" episode
-Waters of Life: The River Jordan had some interesting clips of the middle eastern wolf subspecies that showed how different and more dog-like they were than the common north american and eurasian subspecies.

Red Wolves:
-Marty Stouffer's Wild America- "Wild Dogs" episode (It also had gray wolves in it too.)
That's all I can think of for now.

Ethiopian Wolves:
-One of the episodes of the documentary mini-series "Life" had an episode on Ethiopian Wolves
That's all I know of.

Re: Wolf Documentaries
I liked Valley of the Wolves pretty much. And I also remember a nice old documentary, forgot it's name. I don't remember the titles of the documentaries I watch because I don't really focus on them.

Re: Wolf Documentaries
- Sadly enough I've only seen one of the documentaries on the first post, however I'm currently watching one about the balance of life in Yellowstone. Episode 10/13 of Nature's Microworld. A large quantity of it is about how the reintroduction of the wolf has rebalanced the eco-system and is in fact really interesting :3

Re: Wolf Documentaries
I've also seen this one called Rise of Black Wolf, which was about a wolf who somehow got accepted into the Druid Peak Pack without getting killed. I forget his number (as he was tagged), but if you've researched the Druids you might recognize the name Casanova... That's the wolf.

Re: Wolf Documentaries
I recently watched White Falcon,White Wolf on BBC and it was pretty good, if not humourus some times. I laughed when the little female wolf is chasing after ducks-in the water...

Re: Wolf Documentaries
Here is one documentary about European wilderness (Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine). Even though it is called The Wolf Mountains, there is not a lot about wolves. However, it is very impressive and quite unique. And I have also seen one great documentary about wolves in Canada. It was called Wölfe gegen Bisons - Duell im Hohen Norden (in german)

Re: Wolf Documentaries
She Wolf the legend of Yellowstone is good. It's all bout the she wolf who founded the lamar canyon pack, sadly she was shot by a hunter after she led her pack out of the park for food.

Re: Wolf Documentaries
Considering "The Wolfman" is on there and a few others, no. It's a list of general documentaries pertaining to wolves in some way, shape, or form.Skybreaker wrote:Out of curiosity, are these accurate depictions of wolves?
