What canines have you seen?

I have, actually.
He was sitting on the side of the road watching traffic go by.
Brilliant creatures, they are.
I also hear them outside, around my goats pen. They arent stupid enough to try at our goats, though... we have a guard dog and a pair of large horses... and our neighbors own ducks, so they have a much easier meal that they would rather go with. There is one pack of them that I know of, I have guessed that there were about four in their pack, because my neighbor shoots so many there probably arent many left. They didnt come around for about three months. They finally showed up again about a month ago. They howled that night, and the next. I havent heard them since.

i've heard them at a friends grandmas house in the country...bout 2-3 packs howling at once...one from north, south, and west. my friends and i started howling back....they stopped when we howled for a while

I haven't ever seen a wild coyote, or a wild wolf but I'm sure hopeing to whenever I go back to NewYork!

I don't think I have ever SEEN a wild coyote, but I have HEARD them howl. Their howl is kind of wild scary sounding, but very beautiful.

When I go to my mom's friends house, my brother's friends house, or the wash down the street early in the morning I see them =D. I have only been in the wash early in the morning with my step dad though. It's creepy even during the day alone, let alone before the sun is even up >.<

Yea I have! I've seen a couple walking on the side of the road before. And also there's a pack around where I live, you can hear them howl sometimes at night. Although it's acutally not a good thing as I have chickens and birds and stuff

I remember the first time I saw a coyote.
I was at my house and I had to walk outside to get something out of the car. As I walked outside, I heard this skid across the ground and saw a large, brown coyote run around the corner by the stop sign.
At first I thought it was a dog but the muzzle and the colored patterns stuck out and made me realize it was a coyote. I was, however, surprised that the coyote came so close to town. I live right across from a park so I think that's where the animal came from.
My mom was nervous a bit. Oh well.

I live in the mountains sort of. And we have a place called the wash here. It's a man made trench, really big too. Maybe half a mile across and three miles or so long, it collects rain water. It's filled with dirty, and trees and plants grow throughout it. Coyotes made their home there for awhile now, at night they can be heard yelping and barking in large groups. I sometimes run in to them. Especially if they leave the wash or, if I hike far out in to the back brush. It's always a sight

DUH! Well I live in Arizona which is kinda like Coyote Land. One time I was at my Grandpa's and I was down in a ditch behind some houses and he lives in coyote land like i said and TONS of coyotes started howling when I stepped in some certain place so i guess i was in their territory.I heard like 10 or more of them it was crazy. So yeah and there are bears, deer, and mountain lions (cougars, ect.). And i have seen dead coyotes on the road or walking by the street. AND we have chickens so that attracts them even more. Me and my sister-in-law saw a pack of them! There was one, and he was HUGE! he was probably leader though

Indeed, I have seen many. I have seen one jump over the hood of our car inside of Wind Cave National Park. In the Badlands and Custer State Park, I have seen lots of coyotes stalk through prairie dog towns to try and get one to eat. There was also the one that ran right past me when I was using my telescope in our driveway. That time was kind of scary.

There are coyotes that live in the woods in my backyard so of course I have seen wild coyotes. I usually hear them but when they come out of the woods at night is when I see them.

I've seen a coyote on the side of the road trying to cross the street. I was worried it would get hit by a car. Luckily it was smart enough to stay back. It was very beautiful- gray and tan. Quite large too.
