What canines have you seen?

yes i have seen a coyote, it was cool because i found out one of my dogs look like it!

No, but when we lived in Michigan, my dad saw a wild coyote walking down the road we lived on. I wish I could've been there!

Yes. Here in California I see them often--especially since I live near the fields. (A country western area ;)

The last one I saw it was by the road in the bushes. It spotted some people and ran away. Coyotes have adapted so well and spread when the wolf population was brought down. You can find them almost anywhere in the U.S.A. now.

yeah, there used to be ones in my backyard. They weren't dangerous, and were only about the size of house cats. I saw them, though. Sort of weird and scrawney.

only time I have seen a coyote was when I went to the minnesota zoo during the wild wolf ed-venture. coyotes dont live anywhere near where I am.

Yes. Where I live you see them in the country. I believe hunting them was legal when I was younger, I'm not sure about regulations on it now though. Mostly, you see wild turkey more than anything.

yep! i have seen them in the corn feild in front of my house. there was once one in my backyard too. i hear them a lot as well. their yips and yaps sound so cute! as a matter of fact, i have never seen one in captivity before ......

I have. I was going over to my friends house across the street, but she wasn't there so I turned and started home. I had a weird feeling something was behind me so I turned around to see a Coyote or a red wolf stareing up at me. As much a I loved to touch it I knew better so we just stared at eachother for a while. I turned and walked home. It did the same thing I did. I told my mother and my father chased it off I haven't seen it since.

I haven`t seen a live coyote before, but there was a dead one on the side of the road not far from my house. The poor thing. I really just see foxes and raccoons.

I've seen a couple of coyotes crossing the street and stuff like that. They all looked like tan, skinny dogs or something to me.

I have seen lots of Wild Coyotes because i used to live out in the country with my parents we saw at least twenty every day because we lived near the woods. still every day even in the neighborhood i live in i see coyotys every now and again. I just hope the coyotes dont get our neighbors dog its a little dog and it is so little my dad calls it a rat lol
