Yeah I actually had to look at the pictures and the vid bb posted but I actually am surprised to say I have heard of them. I don't think I've ever seen another though unless it was at a parka and I don't remember -.-"
Still they do seem to walk a bit weird, both legs on each side moving at the same time and all that, but they are beautifully colored~ <33

To me, maned Wolves look like tall foxes.

Seems to be a common thing, since some people also call them "foxes on stilts". I can definitely see why, they look pretty fox-like even though they aren't foxes. Very cute non-foxes.

I think these wolves are awesome. If we had them in the game, it might help raise money to help them, because they are endangered.

Maned wolves aren't actually wolves, they're their own species (Chrysocyon brachyurus) and the only species in their genus and aren't even closely related to wolves, so it wouldn't actually make sense to have them in WolfQuest despite their name. They also don't live anywhere near Yellowstone, where WolfQuest is set. I don't think they're actually endangered, either? Not as a whole, at least. Everything I'm seeing regarding their conservation status is putting them at near-threatened.

I've never heard anything kind of 'another wolf' or name by 'Maned Wolf'. I'm just so lazy to read at this moment, but I'm glad you added some images too. Resembles very much the fox.

True, true... Hyenas were always a 'weird' species for me... I didn't ever know how to classify them. I know they weren't cats (of course) but what would Hyenas be?

True, true... Hyenas were always a 'weird' species for me... I didn't ever know how to classify them. I know they weren't cats (of course) but what would Hyenas be?
Hyenas are feliforms whereas maned "wolves" and gray wolves are caniforms. Hyenas are closer to felines.
