I find this extremely sad to attack someone that young, especially one that was going to change the music industries! I think music is a beautiful thing and should be shared, thats one of the many reasons why I think this article is sad.
90% of teenage girls would die if Justin Bieber jumped off a 20 story building. If your in the 10% who would get a chair and popcorn and say "Do a flip!" pass this on.

OMG! Coyotes killing a woman?! How sad to think and even hear of that! To even see it too would be pretty drastic! Man, just shows you how vicious coyotes can actually be. They've killed several of my aunt's neighbor's dachsunds. They've also killed her kitten named Ginger! I liked that kitten and only the head was left!

Vicious? No.Coyotes can attack pets but with a reason, they don't attack for pleasure.wolfgirl101z wrote:wowsers! Coyotes killing a woman?! How sad to think and even hear of that! Coyotes are like wolves, timid and shy of humans, and attacks on human beings are extremely rare.
Anyway this is a very sad story, poor person. But cold water went through my spine when they mentioned Big bad wolf, dunno why this always happens when I hear something about wolves being evil in a story.

Re: Coyotes Kill Woman in Canadian Park
coyotes attack humans because they have become used to them, if people would stop feeding them, coyotes would stop connecting humans and food. It's our falt if someone gets attacked by a coyote, and people should stop judging them by just one attack

Re: Coyotes Kill Woman in Canadian Park
I have personally never heard of a thing like this before.
-Sheeba-: It is interesting if they do have a new "coyote" breed (coywolves xD)
This young girl didn't have anything on her that perhaps attracted the coyotes (meat?)?
Or was this just an accident?

There's actually a topic here about Coywolves. Check out my huge reply about what's believed to be Coywolves where I live (Newfoundland) Quite interesting, if I do say so myself:Starwars11 wrote:I have personally never heard of a thing like this before.

But yes, I wonder what could have possibly driven them to attack the poor girl. Perhaps they were feeling threatened by her, and felt the need to protect themselves/their territory? It truely is a mystery.

A mystery never to be solved, unfortunately.
It intrigues me.
Normally an "innocent" girl wouldn't try to provoke coyotes.
Perhaps she got to close to them and they felt provoked.
Normally "shy" creatures wouldn't attack (and basically kill) a young girl just taking a hike through a park.

Indeed.Sunawa wrote:I agree.I wonder what she did to provoke them.
I wish she'd taken a video camera or something and took a video of her hike and video'd the attack.
If the coyotes didn't destroy it, of course.

Animals don't always need to be 'provoked' to attack. There are plenty of attacks on humans from animals that had no obvious reason to attack, they were just naturally aggressive.Sunawa wrote:I agree.I wonder what she did to provoke them.
I dislike when people try to put blame on the person in defense of the animal, when they have no evidence to justify their claim.

It was just a thought.Because coyotes tend to be shy,and avoid humans. And if they weren't rabid, what else could it be?Please don't kill me for saying this.Songdog wrote:Animals don't always need to be 'provoked' to attack. Indeed. As Sunawa says, they are naturally shy. And I haven't ever really heard of anyone being killed on a hike by coyotes.Songdog wrote:Animals don't always need to be 'provoked' to attack. Bears, maybe, cougars, wolves, never coyotes.
