Well pretty much the only canid we have roaming around in our area is foxes ^^ There are a small family of foxes living in the field which I live behind, its always nice to see them coming out for a bit; sometimes I like to stay up just so I'm able to see them.

I dont get many canids in my area, but there are a few foxes :) When I go out for a walk in the forest sometimes you can see one or two running back in to the bushes, if it's not busy.

living in the united kingdom, the only wild canids near me are foxes :(
although, 2 years ago, a raccoon dog escaped from a nearby private collection. it was loose for 3 weeks, and i saw it being caught again
the thing that really annoys me is people reading this signature!

Behind or house there are foxes and in this forest I found tracks that look like it came from something bigger I don't know what though.

I have a family of Coyotes living in my woods. They're all so beautiful, but, since the bear moved in I haven't seen them in a while. I've also seen a new family of coyote pups in my area. :D

Coyotes. Only Coyotes. Maybe some foxes but I haven't seen any in 5 years of living here in WI/MN. :D

Coyotes
Swift foxes
Gray foxes
Kit Foxes
Red Foxes

And, although they are extinct here now, historically, Mexican Gray Wolves and Red Wolves lived here as well once. Hopefully, someday they can be reintroduced back into the wild here.

The only ones I've seen in an non-zoo setting, however, was one coyote, but the other species are supposed to live here too.

In our area, we have many many coyotes, so it's not unusual to see these guys on a daily basis. We also have foxes (which im guessing are Red Foxes) seen every so often. ^^ I definitely have thought about possibly seeing wolves in the area, but they are more common West of here. :)

Coyotes surrond my local area. Its cool because the coyotes don't mess with anyone. But they do mess with the dogs. It's funny!!!

We have some foxes and jackals but the foxes seem more common.

Wolves were hunted down and are extinct in my state, but there are still coyotes.

  • There were coyotes, but I don't know where they went! They are probably waiting for the Canadian Geese to flock back to the ponds, which they do by the hundreds :o !

My my, what a variety of foxes o:
We don't have anything too outstanding here. Rather, I have the some of the common animals others have mentioned. Red foxes, coyotes, and the occasional wolf. Interesting to see what others have/lack in terms of animals.
