Applications Open for New Forum Moderators!

We are now accepting applications for a few new WolfQuest forum moderators. Our small team of volunteer moderators are essential to keeping our forum humming along smoothly. Moderators are great community-builders and help keep the forum tidy and organized. If you think you would enjoy this work, please apply!
Moderator Expectations

Moderator Expectations
- • Act as a role model and make positive contributions to the WolfQuest community.
• Represent the WolfQuest team positively and accurately.
• Check the moderated forum(s) once per day to remove inappropriate topics and posts, answer questions, participate in discussions, and add new topics.
• Check other forums at least once per week.
• Communicate with forum members, moderators, and administration in a professional and helpful manner. Moderate in a positive, constructive, and informative manner, responding appropriately to people who go against the Community Guidelines. Avoid posting anything that may seem negative, demeaning, excluding, or condescending.
• Check your email and PM inbox regularly. (The email address you list on this application should be the one you check most regularly and does not have to be the same as the one associated with your WolfQuest account.).
• Correspond with the administrator about concerns, planned absences, and keeping your contact information current.
• Be at least 15 years old.
- • Access to the moderators-only forum.
• Ability to move and/or lock topics and posts.
• Optional moderator title in profile (rank and signature).
• May be given early information about the game and/or its development.
• The fun and satisfaction of working with the WolfQuest team and community.

- 1) What are three forums on WolfQuest you visit frequently and would like to help moderate and why?
2) What do you believe is the most important mission of WolfQuest? As a moderator of the forums, how would you uphold this mission?
3) What is your favorite part of the WolfQuest community and why?
4) As a moderator, how would you best support, strengthen, and improve the WolfQuest forums?
5) Do you have any customer service experience, i.e., a job or volunteer position in which you work directly with and for other people? If so, briefly mention where and what you do and how you would apply this experience to forum moderation.
- 1) You see you see a post, profile, or signature that does not comply with the forum guidelines.
2) You notice two members arguing in a thread, but their discussion is on-topic.
3) Someone posts false information on the forums about wolves or WolfQuest.
4) You see a questionable topic and are unsure whether to lock it or leave it open.
5) Someone asks a question you don’t know the answer to.
6) You PM a member in regards to their behavior- their reply is angry and borderline abusive.
