I'm loving the new update! It would be really cool if your mate helps you fend off predators (like help you fight/chase off coyotes, mountain lions, and bears) in the next update! :^D

The mate is a bit more helpful in the next patch. (But you'll still have to do the real work yourself.)

Gosh, I hope so! I get so angry and frustrated with the mate AI that I avoid Single Player almost entirely.

I'm so glad that a new update is still in production! I figured that the 2.7.2 update would be considered a two-in-one!

Will you guys be thinking of makeing a new episode of WQ after you put WQ on other versions? And for a patch release, will you make wolves walk around like your wolf you move around w/ the controls? :pawprint:

From March 2016:

Sales have been quite good. I'm truly astounded by how many people have purchased the game so far, and I'm grateful to every one of you/them. It's incredibly gratifying that thousands of people have said: "Yeah, I'll pay $10 for a game that let's me be a wolf."

However, we ended up investing far more time and money than I ever expected, so even with healthy sales we've had so far, and even optimistically assuming that they continue, it'll be many months before we will have recouped our investment. I do think we will reach that point, and I do think that we will be able to start working on a new episode by the end of this year, but all that depends on how sales go in the coming months.

As for your second question, I am sure that would depend on funding and how smoothly something like that could be implemented.

WolfQuest patch 2.7.2p6, released September 23, 2016.

This patch has a variety of improvements and fixes. All of these are already in the latest update of the Android/Kindle game (released yesterday). Most are already in the iOS version, but a couple new ones are in an update currently waiting for Apple review — should be released within a day or two.

* When predators attack, your mate will now pick up a pup to protect it.
* Wolf scaling is shown properly in multiplayer games.
* Improvements to pup behavior around Slough Creek ponds.
* Players kicked from a multiplayer game cannot rejoin that game again.
* New achievement: Alas, Poor Yorick
* Minor improvements to predator behavior when spawning near den.
* Minor AI fixes on wolf packs patrolling their territory.
* Fixes to chat problems on cross-platform multiplayer games.
* Another fix to prevent multiple cougar spawning.
* Tweaks to cougar running and turning animations.
* A few refinements to screen layout issues and multiplayer reporting instructions.

"Alas, poor Yorik!", hehe.

I tried looking in the LR graveyard, but there was nothing. Hm...sneaky. ;)

I just played for the first time in forever and was absolutely blown away! I love the new details with flowers and bugs, the cougar startled me! I was not expecting a cougar at all. I have yet to see a fox, but now I am so curious! I am so excited for more improvements and a possible future episode. This has been my favorite game for years now!
