I'm sooooo excited for the Android release! I do not have a computer and my iPad is only a Mini and therefore (as I've read) cannot support the game. I do have a Samsung S4, though. Would it support the game?

I'm not highly knowledgable about Android devices, so I can't say much yet about what devices it'll run on. Once I switch over to the Android platform and start testing on my set of devices, I'll have some better guidelines.

Those run a version of Android, right? Based on Dave's post (above yours), there is probably no telling yet. Also, from the looks of it, there are different models/versions of the Fire tablets, so it might depend on your version as well.

More bad news, I'm afraid: The 2.7.2 update took longer than anticipated, especially with the patches. We're back working on the mobile version but the new things in 2.7.2 now requires additional optimization, as they're pushing us over memory and GPU limits. We're chugging along with it but we've got some vacations coming up later this month and I'm afraid we're not going to have it quite ready to release before then.

I'm really sorry, and I feel terrible about it. We're so close...but just not close enough to release it yet. Tolerances are pretty tight for these mobile devices and we want to be pretty confident that it will perform well. To that end, I am looking for more beta testers for the iPhone/iPad version. PM me with your device info if you're interested.

I am totally cool with waiting! The game has to be the best it can be, right? Most people have the PC/Mac version to keep them occupied, and I'm sure I speak for most of the WQ community by saying that we are willing to be patient. :)

Thanks for the update! That's totally fine about the delay, we all appreciate the time and effort you're putting in so enjoy the vacation coming up~
I know you're looking for iPad/iPhone testers right now, but if you happen to need another tester for Android devices I'd be happy to help out! Specifically I've got a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and could probably also borrow a Galaxy S7 to experiment with.

I still wish there would be an iphone option....at least for singleplayer....would totally buy it. That way could always play Wolfquest even if wasn't at home.

Oooh SWEET! Thanks for letting me know!! I must have missed seeing that :D You've made me very happy and when it comes out for phone that will be another $10 for Wolfquest then as I will definitely be repurchasing the game for my iphone. Wonder if wolves already saved to your account can be accessible via phone.

I've just submitted WQ to the Apple App Store! It typically takes a few days for them to review submissions, so I hope it'll be approved and ready to release early next week. (And then on to the Android/Kindle version, which shouldn't take more than a week or 10 days.)
