You'd probably just download the base/'demo' game like you would with any other app/the original WQ pc game, and as soon as you've got the game up and running you could find the store in there. Just guessing, though, not a definite answer :)Semper Solus wrote:Oh okay, thanks. But I guess I will find out once it's released. ^^''

I appreciate the pricing- I was expecting it to be way more expensive.

Re: New Version: Pricing
I do not own the game, I am only repeating what Dave (LoboLoco) has said in the past. There will not be two apps - just the 'demo' version, then the in-app purchases that will make it into a 'full' game. And please do not be rude to me, I was never rude to you.WolfieTheWarrior wrote:
You don't understand what I am saying perfectly, which you practically stated above.
MY Suggestion was for a DEMO and A FULL VERSION . TWO Apps.
Do you own the game or something? Your acting like what you say is fact.
Please don't "disprove" my suggestion.
How do you know there won't be two apps?
I'm just suggesting the best possible way.
I'm not trying to sound angry or hostile, only trying to get my point across. Thank you.
Re: New Version: Pricing
Why?
2.5 has some of these "new" features and multiplayer is free
This kind of ruins the educational aspect of the game and makes it well, more of what is considered a "game" in today's world
As a reminder, it is 1-3 USD/AUD For EACH purchase, Not for the full game.

Re: New Version: Pricing
Considering they need the money just to keep this game running and up to date, that would be a pretty good reason to charge people. It costs a lot to make a game like this and they are no longer being funded by the Minnesota zoo and so eduweb had to dip into their own resources to make this game possible._Nimbus_ wrote:Why?

Re: New Version: Pricing
It's not like the actual content of the game is changing; the content will remain the same, albeit with some updates (for the better). As I've mentioned before, I was very much against the idea of charging for a game like this myself two years ago. However, charging for the game does not really change the content of the game; it merely changes the accessibility of the game. Unfortunately, as Maddie pointed out, this is the only practical way for the WolfQuest project to continue. It will still remain an educational project, but for the project to continue to receive updates, it must source its funds from elsewhere.Maddiejane wrote:Considering they need the money just to keep this game running and up to date, that would be a pretty good reason to charge people. Re: New Version: Pricing
I think that I would purchase everything if I had the money, but only because I strongly support Wolfquest. Plus, I'd really like to see a third episode, and if funding helps make that happen, I'll fund!
