WQ on Facebook and Twitter and Tumblr and Instagram

We've have an official Facebook Group for awhile:

I plan to use both for periodic announcements about the new version of the game, so please join/follow either/both of them if you're so inclined.

Oh cool, but I don't have fb or twitter and I have a reason not to, they're too mainstream for me, but that's good because you want more people to know about WQ

Do you have to have an account to view either of those? And will the announcements be the same as on here, or will you post more on Twitter/Facebook then here?

You don't need a Facebook or Twitter account to view either one, but joining the group or following WolfQuest on Twitter is ideal for the latest notifications. 
Glad to see you finally got around to posting the Facebook group here, Dave. I'll get around to following the Twitter group at some point.

Whenever I got to Twitter, or visit the Facebook link it tells me to sign in.

Twitter does have a 'nag' login prompt, but you can close it and continue browsing. The Facebook group I've been able to visit numerous times with Chrome in incognito mode without being prompted to login. Weird.
Ahh, yeah, getting the login prompt for Facebook too. I think it's been picking up on my session cookies to prevent login? Sorry about that misunderstanding. ^^;

When I go to Twitter.com it tells me to sign in, but I went to search instead and that worked.

The forum will always have the most new information, but FB and Twitter will put info out there for folks who don't feel like checking the forum so often.

I could only get to the Twitter account using DuskyPack's direct link, but Facebook asks me to sign in >:(

- Protip: if the forums are ever down for an extended period, the Facebook page is a great way to let Dave know something is up. Post there when that happens, but check to make sure someone hasn't already done that ahead of you!
I might just have to make a Facebook profile to be able to post on the page, since I do not wish to use my real profile there.

Like I said before, it's great for getting the word out about WQ, but it's also good because then for those who have Twitter and Facebook, they can get updates quicker and easier than checking the forum constantly for an update.
