I vote for option 1 because it sounds pretty cool, I mean choosing the time of day you wake up! Thats pretty awesome.
So my vote rests on OPTION 1.

Ok then another idea should be this (not too big as I did before):
Single Player: :)
You are able to lay down, sit and sleep. Pressing the "z" button will sit your wolf, then the "r" button makes your wolf lay down. If you press again the "r" button while laying down, a popup appears, choosing the "Choose the time of sleeping" button. The "Choose the time of sleeping" button lets the player choose from "Morning", "Day" and "Night". Press the "y" button to stand up or wake up or stop any action you do.
Multiplayer: :D :D
Just same as Single Player, but the "Choose the time of sleeping" button doesn't appear to normal players, the leader of the chat must choose the time of the day and let the players know what time it will be.
Single and Multiplayer ALERT:
You STILL can swim, howl, bow and wag your tail like you do right now.

Hope it helps!

EDIT: Nevermind I'm still with the OPTION 3. LOL
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :!:

And the new ideas posted- either they include things that are beyond what we're able to add for weather and time, or I don't really see the difference from the other options already available. Sorry!
No worries Cana, I saw some pretty cool ideas out there. :)

I need to ask you Cana something:
When are you going to update WolfQuest or what and how many time it will take?
OH and I LOVE WOLFQUEST! It makes me know more about wolves, and I feel wild and happy! Thanks for creating this game! :D :!:

After re-looking at all the options, and then Shusuke's idea, I decided to change my opinion/vote to Option 7. All the others are just too complicated for me xD And after resting, i like the idea of just having to press a different key to wake up instead of having to go through the whole process instead.

Firstly, please remember that this thread is not for asking questions regarding the game, as it's for discussing the options for 'I need a rest!', ok? Thanks! If you have questions about the game, then it's best to ask them in Tips, Hints and Help or a thread relating to it, rather than this one ;)

Though in answer to your question, all game updates depend upon funding purposes and what happens in the future, so it's unknown how many times the game will be updated. In regards to the upcoming version (2.5), then its not known when that will be released, or updated as you might want to call it. You might want to have a look at the FAQ's for further details:

I went for six. I dunno, it makes me think of option three, except that you can stand up whenever you want.

Alright, the poll is now closed. Thank you all for your opinions- we will take them all into consideration when deciding how to best go about implementing this into the game. And once that happens, we'll be one step closer to finishing the next episode! :)
Thanks for the avatar, Silverness!
