Yep. The more extras added will make Slough Creek Deluxe even more deluxe! But then again, I suppose we shouldn't be expecting too much unless we have a millionaire donating. Well at this moment in time, there is no complete answer of whether or not the chat box will be removed, its one of the considerations though. For the moment of what we know of, the only things which will be happening is that weather & time, plus an option named "I need a rest!" will be added as both of these options won the 2.5 contest, the removal of the chat box was just one of the voting options, which didn't win. I wouldn't worry too much about it for now ^^breyerpeep wrote:PLEASE do not remove the chat box! Thats a horrible idea! No rp or talking to ANYONE?! Not cool!

Re: WolfQuest Mini-newsletter, Aug 2010
Adding to Silverhybrid's post, the idea wasn't to have the entire chatbox removed, in fact, it was allowing the player to remove the chatbox at will.

Adding on,
The chatbox won't be removed unless something happens (due to funding or other reasons). This quote should help.^^
Will WolfQuest ever take away the chat lexicon?:

Will WolfQuest ever take away the chat lexicon?:
Source: http://www.wolfquest.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=39796While there has been much discussion about removing the chat lexicon in favor of a ‘phrased chat’ (with the chat created by selecting from a list of pre-determined phrases), we hope the inappropriate language and behavior will diminish enough so we won’t have to do this anytime soon. We do know, however, that if WolfQuest runs out of funding, we will either have to turn off the chat altogether or definitely implement a phrased chat system (which is the choice we’re hoping for). But we’re hoping that won’t be anytime in the near future.

Well I've noticed more Partner Sites, or am I just imagining things? Perhaps more partner sites = more funding = awesome new features for future games +D

Partner sites are just pages about wolves at various zoos that wolfquest has linked to here. I doubt most of them provide any sort of funding.
