Winter?

It will probably take much longer than that. For Slough Creek, the beta testing took about 2-3 weeks by itself.

And I don't even think development has started yet - the Team has to meet with Exiah to discuss her idea at the end of August.

It'll probably take a full year or so until the actual development and production starts. Then maybe six to twelve months for the actual thing to be released.

It will probably take more then 10 months or something for an announcement, so a new episode isn't coming so fast.

I congratulate both Exiah and Cama, and everyone else who has been a finalist in this contest. I hope you all have had a good time - the ideas were all very interesting and helpful.

I hate to say it but i bet it will be in about 1.5-2 yearsconsidering wq2 came out 5 months after it was suposed to then well. It's not there fault but limited funding and game designers means it will take a long time.
but still im happythat it is suposed to m be created

Patience is a virtue, fellas. Adjusting and fitting the new ideas into the upcoming episode is not an easy nor a quick process - it takes planning and development.

Me too, and I'm sure it's going to take a lot of effort to make the new episode.

But isn't it sort of like an add on to the regular one (Amethyst Mt. and Slough Creek)? So it might be a made faster because its an add on, not a whole new area or story...(at least I don't think).

It will still take them a long time to add in all the weather types (depending on what is suggested when Exiah meets the team) and making a movement for the wolf to lie down. Even though its not a completely new place or anything, it will still take time. They also need the Beta testers to test the game and get rid of as many bugs as possible before it will be released to us.

Thats true. the weather might take awhile because they have to add all the effects and everything.
