Re: The results for the 2.5 Design Contest are in!
But isn't it sort of like an add on to the regular one (Amethyst Mt. and Slough Creek)? So it might be a made faster because its an add on, not a whole new area or story...(at least I don't think). [/quote]
But think about it, weather effects, cougars, bison, having yourwolves grow up, all this is creating alot of pixelation (lol i love that word) its sort of an add on i guess, more like a half a game;)

She's right. The winners were Time & Weather, and I need a Rest. These Ideas will be added into the new game, and hopefully another Poll like this will take place so we can continue to vote for our favourite ideas.

With the addition of weather it could get difficult, depending on what Exiah and the team think up/create. Lying down will probably make the game easier, but it depends. Also, if you have the newest version of WolfQuest now, it should be a lot easier then when it first came out. ^ ^

Oh I agree, weather will make things interesting! It'll make things a lot more realistic in gameplay, plus it'll bring a whole new aspect to the game (plus, I personally think it'll be awesome playing the game when its in a night mode) ^^.AlbinoWolf6 wrote:I agree, but the weather will add alot of excitement and activity to the game^^Alpha Female wrote:With the addition of weather it could get difficult, depending on what Exiah and the team think up/create. Yes, night mode will be quite exciting. I'm hoping they may add 'night-vision' or something similar so its easier to see in the dark (and it has an educational value to it, seeing as wolves can see in the dark).
I wonder what Exiah will talk to the team about. There are so many things that she could talk about. Weather is a pretty big subject. ^ ^

Yesh! That would be epic! The redicuosly dark, and you have to press a special key that is kind of like the scent key (where you see what the wolf sees), but instead of scent pumes along the ground, it would be black-white-and-gray (with some cloudy stuff near the edge of the screen, like when dream-clouds appear on cartoons), but kind of more liek the original scent, view. And if you turn it on at day-time, it is very hard to see (like night-vision goggles, lol!).

I am excited for the "I need a rest" idea too^^ It will be fun just to have a lazy day and sleep and hang out with your pups

Predators will not attack pups when you are more than 50 meters away from the den, looking for food, marking, etc.
