New WolfQuest T-shirt- you choose!

hey this is great news to hear WQ is already moving onto somethign that can help protect wolves a lot more with more money to spend in conservation. i like all the ideas

Is the picture shown the actual graphic? I don't know...it doesn't seem as detailed as the original shirt design which I really liked. As an advertisement for wolfquest I'd personally want a little more detail on the wolves as it reflects on the game where the wolves are highly deailed...hopefully I'm making some sense here in my question/statement.

Rustic- this is pretty close to the actual design; we just might add a few tweaks here and there. We decided to go with something totally different than the first shirt, sticking more with a silhouette look than a really detailed look. We wanted the two shirts to be different so either people who didn't like the first shirt might like this one better, or so if people already have the first shirt, then this shirt will be totally different and new. If that makes sense.

That makes perfect sence Cana, I agree it's good to have something new. If you have two T-shirts that are almost the same then really, what's the point in buying the new T-shirt... and it gets rid of the fun.

I can understand not wanting them to be exactly the same...but I had thought that it would have the same level of detail as the first only with the addition of pups. I don't know maybe I'm too picky or soemthing but to me the level of detail on the shirt speaks of the level of detail in the game, as it is after all an advertisement.

If I may ask, if the sole reason silhouettes were chosen is to have them be different from the original why is the original being discontinued? It would be nice to have both versions available, particularly if one design is preferred over the other. I have one from the original, but shirts of course don't last forever, lol.

Of course you may ask, Rustic.

We are discontinuing the original design because we have to order so many at a time, and we don't want to sit on a bunch of shirts that don't sell. (Though I do believe Solitary or another moderator jokingly said once that sitting on a bunch of shirts would actually be quite comfortable.) We have to spend a whole lot of money to make a new batch of shirts, and if they don't sell, then we just lose out on all that money (that could have been used for things like game improvements, bug fixes, or just general forum maintenance). But honestly, we still have plenty of shirts left in the old design, just not in all the sizes. So if you really like the old design and want a second shirt, if you wear a YL, YXL, AS, or AM, we should still have those shirts for sale for a while yet. It's just the biggest and smallest sizes we're almost out of. We will continue to sell the old design along with the new design until all the shirts are sold, or until we decide to stop running the store for whatever reason. (Which definitely won't be anytime soon!)
