You said you will be fixing the predator bugs fixed too. Will you fix the mate issue too, the one where your mate is just running in place. (a lot of people have had this glitch and I'm sure someone has reported it already)

I knew I should've downloaded it yesterday :? Well another week or two of waiting can't be that bad... (Was on holidays when Survival of the pack was released.)

WQ Coordinator wrote:Well, because of the multiplayer username issues and our hopes to have another version with fewer bugs ready for you all within the next week or two, we are removing the link to download Survival of the Pack until the new version is ready. The new version will allow usernames with numbers and symbols, and should have most of the saving and predator issues fixed.

If you notice anyone posting about not being able to download the new game, please direct them to this post. I'll allow comments and questions on this post for a little while, but please keep them to a minimum so people look at this first post. Thanks.
Quoting this. Just because I can. :P

Thanks for the update :) I have one quick question - can we still play SC if we have it downloaded (like will MP be down temporarily or anything)?

For everyone who asked a question, please read through the WolfQuest FAQs. You should be able to find your answer there.

The one question I saw that is not answered there or elsewhere on the forums- we debated taking MP down during this span before the new game is released, simply because so many people are complaining about the NONAME thing, and they don't realize that if they just wait a couple weeks, their current username should work. So it's making a whole lot more work for me. But we never came to a final conclusion, so to my knowledge, MP is still up and running.

I'll lock this now, since most of the questions asked don't really belong in this topic.

Edit: oops, wanted to add this as well. We realize the mate isn't as 'smart' as we had originally hoped. Programming the mate AI has been much more problemmatic than we had anticipated, and though we do hope to make some improvements, we're not sure when that will happen, or how much 'smarter' it will be. But we hear your complaints, and we do hope to improve it at some point!
Thanks for the avatar, Silverness!
