The update is now available for download (www.wolfquest.org). Please download this new version, as the old version may no longer work at some point in the next couple days.

You will probably not notice anything different about this update- it is simply a fix to a bug we were experiencing, and will not add puppies or any new missions. The pups and new missions will be included in Episode 2:Slough Creek, still estimated to be released sometime in August.

We are sending a mass e-mail to everyone's account to let them know about this download. If you know of someone who changed their e-mail address or asks why they can't log in to multiplayer anymore (they'll receive a message that suggests their account is no longer activated), please tell them to download the newest version of the game and see if that helps.

Ok, help needed. I downloaded the updated version but the multiplayer still wouldn't let me play because of 'Network Error' (I have Vista). I tried to solve the problem by uninstalling the game and downloading the new version again. But now it won't install and gave me these messages:

The cabinet file 'disk1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."

And as I choose to ignore it:

The installer has encoutered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2350.

Is that 'disk1.cab' my computer's own problem or some part of the game? I've just been having problems with some other programs crashing so it can be something else, too.
