Things Not To Put In A Topic Title

This is (hopefully) not like the Etiquette guide, which is more directed at behavior.

-Don't put weird symbols in the topic title to make it look fancy: ....~~\|/Whoot\|/~~....
-Putting "Plz Read!" in your topic title is annoying
-Don't make a title that says "Please Read" (hypocritically I did this once when I really had no other idea for a topic name)
-CAPS LOCK OF DOOM
- Putting "Very Important!" as the title is not helpful
-Spelling things incorrectly is a no no(honestly, it's the topic title, the one thing you want to spell check)
-A topic titled as "Question" is incredibly unspecific
-Chatspeak in a title=fail
-Make sure your title is relevant to the topic

...anyway. What do you guys think? Do you have any more thoughts on this?

oh, don't forget don't put anything gross or sicking. (I have saw MANY of that >_<)

I just joined wolfquest, and i've noticed some of the things you've mentioned on other forums in other games...
here's one...
I haven't seen any on here, but I've seen a lot of these on other sites:
Post topic sounding very important/urgent, but once you click on the topic, the actual post has little to do with the "important" heading. Some of these topics make no sense, or have such eye catching titles that are written only to grab people's interest before pursuing another topic.

Why do people write "!warning spoilers!" in their titles? I mean, does it mean they don't want anyone to write anything bad in it? Maybe, you could add this...:

- Please do not write "!warning spoilers!".

A spoiler is something that talks about a book, movie or other media and gives away important information/good parts about them. Users throw that in the title for other people that want to see, read, etc that media later and don't want anything given away.

Heh, the ridiculous titles some people use make me laugh.

Making fun, but the point is that some people just make themselves look desperate with the topic titles. It was funny the first 5 times, but after the next 50, it gets old. THINK before you put up your topic title.

Yes I have actually seen a few ridiculous titles. Some people are desperate for veiwers and write things like 'MUST READ!' It got old seeing it a lot.
