All topics must be words. No topic called, "?!??!?!?!"

Same thing with stories; "NEEDS CHARACTERS!"

You could just say "Accepting characters" instead, it's MUCH less annoying.

Whenever I see that, I don't want to read the story because then I know that the author hasn't prepared him/herself for that story, and it's usually scrappy and has a bunch of characters flooding in at once.

these tips really makes sense and thanks for putting them. I do have a habit of having topics with questions, though. Anyway, some of that stuff is really annoying. we go on topics that seem interesting to us, not because they are shouting at us, or have some kind of crazy design on them.

How about when people post topics in 'Avatars' and put their title as something like: "MAKING AVATARS! PLEASE, PLEASE REQUEST!"? Honestly, it doesn't get them anywhere, and their topic's inactive within about 2 days.

It is incredibly unspecific, and very annoying if every topic you look at says ".:~PLZ REED IMPORTANT QUESTION LOL~:."

Yeah, I guess it's possible to put a smily in a title, but I don't see people do that often.

I think this should be an announcement. 70% of packs/avatar workshops have something like this:

***~~~---___\{The_(pack name)_Pack}/___---~~~***

or whatever. I don't see it being fancy at all. Things like "$hadows" is fine in my opinion just as long as it's not "$#@d()w$".
