I know that all of us make mistakes with spelling sometimes, but it cant be that hard to spell a five or six worded topic title.
Also, putting apostrophes in contractions is a good idea as well. ;)

I don't think there should be a rule against no text-speak, this is a person's choice, I personally don't like it but everyone has their own way. I don't think it should be allowed in any place but Forum Games or any of the other unserious topics since the "You cannot make another post so soon after your last" thing will pop up anyways. Especially not in Pack Central, User Writings, and the informational topics like Wildlife, General Wolf Discussion, those areas. It is reallly hard to understand something when it's just letters put into a random order. Some places it's understandable, like Forum Games, but there are also times to be serious.

Not sure if this one has already been posted, but don't make titles that say something like, "-insert username here- IS A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!! BAN HER!!!"
With regards to that, don't overuse smilies.

Um. It takes about, what, a minute to check over your topic title to make sure you spelled something right?

There is also spellcheck.

Besides, if you don't spell a lot of words right, some people may not even bother to look at your post anyway >_>

It's just a couple of words to look over, it can't take that much time. A lot of people get very annoyed when you do not spell things correctly and, as babyballerarh pointed out, won't look at your post because they might not understand the words, the topic, or they might just immediatly label it as immature and not bother to give it a second glance. It matters very much how you word things and apply them to a topic title, maybe not to you, but to many other members at WolfQuest, it does matter.

This isn`t exactly "Topic Title",but it`s close.

I hate it when someone just writes one long sentence and doesn`t put a period it annoys me and makes it hard to read if you were to read it aloud then you would be out of breath then it`s even harder to read when the post`s really long I mean if they had a long sentence it`s fine but have at least two periods if you have more than one sentence and if you don`t like putting those dots then combine two sentences by putting "and" or "but" and the thing that probably annoys me the most is when the only period they ever put is at the end.
If you like something, keep it until it EXPLODES!

The rules are very specific, thanks Songdog. Also, everyone else's opinion on what should and shouldn't be allowed is useful as well, I would definitley consider some of these.

how about -Don't put any personal information about you in your topic Title. I have never seen it happen but what if people ask where they live or what there last name is or something and some one might make a topic about it saying stuff about them like there last name and all :?
