There are moose in every Canadian Province except for PEI

They can store 100 pounds of food in there stomach!
They lose nearly 30% of their weight in winter
One of their biggest threats are brain worms. A type of parasite

I have unfortunately never seen a moose in the wild. I can't remember if I've seen one in a zoo, I think I might have, but it's been at least a year since I've visited the zoo so my memory might be a little off. That being said, you really do have to admire them. They're the largest member of the family Cervidae, and are very majestic (and huge!) animals.
