The title says it all! :D
I'd rather have a nature perserve, because I like it when animals feel like they're free

Both have their place in the world. Neither is superior or inferior. Preserves are less likely to be visited by the general public, especially since they aren't in cities like zoos can be. Therefore zoos educate and inspire more people than preserves alone ever could. Captive populations aid in conservation and research, and can be managed more than animals in preserves can be. Preserves are a great place for researching things like ecology and natural behavior, whereas zoos really help out with physiology and reproduction, among other things. Preserves also preserve (who would've guessed) wild populations, which is good. They both serve an important purpose in conservation and other wildlife things.

I love 'em both! I like how nature preserves, well, preserve nature! I love that they put places off limits to build or hunt on which is really needed now. But like TheSeaWolf said, zoos inspire people which leads to people wanting to do more! Both are very helpful to animals & to people alike and if used properly can help spur a generation of people who care about wildlife. It would be great if we could get more of both around~

Some zoos are nice to the animals and some are not nice to the animals.
I have been to a good zoo called Jungle Cat World (they mostly have cats, but also a few other animals.), but I know some zoos are not so nice.

I think I would rather have a nature preserve, but some zoos are also very good.

As said before, both are highly benificial in animal conservation and public education.

Nature preserve by far; the less interaction with humans, the better.

Nature preserves as they have little interactions with humans and are more entertaining because of the interactions between animals.
