This goose needs to be relocated along with her nest, some little kid is going to try and touch the goose and disaster will strike.

I saw the takins but I could not find the mom and the new baby... perhaps they were indoors that day?

Ticked off pair of geese, even the male came to support the female from "attack" from my bro.(Who was not doing anything but standing a little to close.) You can see the male posturing as well.

Aww, I'm sorry the weather was horrible, Kyuubi. But those are some very good photos ^^.

I love the Pronghorns, they're adorable and the Tapir. Tha Takin... I don't think I've ever heard of them before. But it looks so neat xD;

I can't recall which day was your birthday, but I do know that they had the baby takin and mom in for a view days for observations and such.

I am glad that you had a nice visit at the Zoo. I agree that the goose could be asking for trouble, but I guess she nests there every year.

You will have to make plans to come back when the new exhibit opens in June. It is going to be fantastic. Grizzly bears! Sea Otters! Amur Leopards! Wild Boar! Well, maybe some people wouldn't get so excited about Wild Boar, but I understand that there are piglets born this spring that should still be young on exhibit.
