~a group of emus is called a mob.

Yep, it's correct. I remember doing a project on animal groups in 5th grade, and on each animal group website I went onto, that one was there, along with the animal group name book I got at the library.

I always tend to laugh at some of the irony involved in the group names for some of these animals; if you want to call it that. They're all rather strange in some way..
Some weird ones I know:
- - Group of Armadillos is called a Roll [ Not sure on this one I've seen different things for it ]
- Group of Barracudas is called a Battery
- Group of Boars is called a Sounder
- Group of Butterflies is called a Rabble, Flight, Flutter or Swarm
- Group of Coyotes is called a Train
- Group of Eels is called an Array
- Group of Frogs is called a Bundle
Again, I can't actually verify anything to say all of these are correct but.. yeah. I find them a tad amusing either way. ^^"

Penguins are so awesome that they have several group names.
- In general, a group of penguins is known as a parcel.
A group of penguins on land is a waddle.
A nesting group of penguins is a rookery.
A group of baby penguins is a creche.
A group of penguins on water is a raft.
Here are others:
- A group of goats is called a herd, trip, or tribe.
A group of flies is called a business.
A group of hamsters is a horde.

Maybe a crow will murder a raven that was unkind to them O.o that's pretty funny for crows and ravens.

An implausibility of wildebeest. Only funny one I know offhand, found it for a short story awhile ago.
