Actually a group of fish has many different terms

A group of sardines is called a shoal.

A group of sharks is called a shiver, school, or shoal.

a group of dolphins, orcas and other toothed whales is called a pod.

A group of baleen whales is just called a group. Though most balleen whales live alone or in pairs.

A group wolves, African Wilddogs, and most canids is called a pack.

A group of lions is called a pride. However most big cats are usually solitary animals.

A group of krill is often called a swarm.

All these names are pretty amusing. I wonder who comes up with the names for these sorts of things. Like, who got the idea one day to just call a group of crows a "murder" or call a group of ravens an "unkindness"? That's something that has stumped me about animal names for quite a while.
