Re: Favorite type of Owl
Eagle owls are very beautiful(and handsome) birds, and although there are many different types of eagle owls, I don't know if I could choose a "favorite". Each owl has its own unique qualities and colorations, so it's hard not to find them all interesting.

Re: Favorite type of Owl
Eh, Snowy Owl is my favorite. =] I love their pure white fur, and generally owls are awesome birds! 8D Their big, smart eyes are very interesting, though sometimes the sounds they make at night are quite creepy.. xP

My favorite owl would probably be the horned owl and the burrowing owl. Though, I'm absolutely terrified of Barn Owls. I have a phobia of them.

Re: Favorite type of Owl
I adore the Eurasian Eagle-owl; they are just incredibly beautiful, and I love their plumage. I find them very unique from any other owl.

Re: Favorite type of Owl
I believe the first one is a Barbagianni Owl (AKA Barn Owl)
And the second a. . . i'm thinking possibly a western screech owl, but the feathers are different, so i don't know. http://www.ejphoto.com/western_screech_owl_page.htm
Another one of the cutest BIG EYED owls is the Northern Saw-Whet Owl
