I see a few mockingbirds and house sparrows at the apartment complex I'm at, and a TON of starlings and red-winged blackbirds (there's a little pond nearby).

A lot of the fieldwork I've been doing has been in the forest, and on two occasions now I've been sitting on a log and a woodchuck just causally strolls by. I had one that was walking on the log towards me until he realized that I was there, probably was only about 3 meters away. I get the impression that they're kinda derpy.

Just got back from Alaska, so mostly moose. We saw five in one day. Also some humpback and beluga whales, sea otters, sea lions, seals, puffins, and bald eagles. And tourists.

There's a small swamp-like area near my house, and we would get all sorts of ducks, cranes, deer, and rabbits walking through our yard. Eventually leaving out food for them became a daily chore for our family just like feeding our pets. It was really cool.
An awful dude, but a pretty okay kazoo player.

I have been to a zoo with only a few animals, the Zoo opened about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I've just returned from Yellowstone itself, actually. I've never seen so much wildlife before.

Twelve bears--six black, six grizzly, from Lamar Valley to the Tetons. One of the sows was Raspberry, who lives in Yellowstone, and the other sow grizzly was 399 in the Tetons with her COY Snowy (who died last week :( )

The Junction Butte pack in Yellowstone--they have a new den alongside Slough Creek, it's actually visible from a side road near Soda Butte--about six adults & yearlings, and six pups that were estimated to be 8-10 weeks old. They. Were. Adorable.

About four coyotes, including one pup. (One of these coyotes had just killed a pronghorn fawn and was ripping it up on the roadside. Definitely not something I see a lot, living in the South.)

A bald eagle, and a cow moose with her calf near Jackson, WY.

Many Rocky Mountain Elk cows with their calves. There were a couple bulls in velvet not too far from Cache Creek; several pronghorn as well, and many bighorn sheep.

And I was surprised to see pika! They were hanging around the shores of Jenny Lake in the Tetons. I couldn't believe it, since it was so warm!

...and, of course, bison... so many bison... There are 5,000 bison in Yellowstone and I feel like I've seen each of them, they're everywhere...

I've grown an eye for birds. There's a red-tailed hawk I'm planning on trying to possibly hack near my school, along with a cooper's hawk. I've seen a few kestrels lately, too. Lotsa vultures as well.

In Central Finland, where I live in is rarely to see any* wild animals in nature, even in whole Finland.
Btw, I've seen some mountain hare at this winter. Totally beautiful sight.

Do you see any bird activity in Finland? I'm sure there are probably some avian friends around. =)

I see something every day, but I guess some recent highlights have been the resident barred owl at the park by my work, as well as cardinals, juncos, mockingbirds, and squirrels. Nothing too crazy.

I saw an albino squirrel when I was in Washington D.C.. It was (appropriately) near the Museum of Natural History, and it had attracted quite an amount of onlookers.

My sister and I spotted a white-tailed deer in our cousin's backyard. Then I saw a small elk herd a little after that when we went home.
"You want to try to take me under
Ill never bow until I'm six feet under
Listen to the sound of rolling thunder
You'll can't break me
You'll never take me down"
