I'd definitely want to help breed cheetahs. Of course, I'd also love to have enough land and resources to DO that

But yeah, cheetah is the top of my list. They've been domesticated before, they're extremely shy and careful cats, full of hiss and spit but when it comes down to it, they're much weaker than pretty much all the other big cats out there. Breeding them in captivity was extremely hard, but I live near the Wild Animal Park here in Sunny San Diego - where there have been well over 100 births of cheetahs in just the last decade or so. They finally figured it out.

Aside from that... Hm. A red panda, though they're not remarkably friendly they ARE the most adorably cute things ever.

Not that i'd ever consider wild animals pets... they'd always either be companions by choice or plain simply wild.

For a long time now i've dreamed of having a successful Philippine Eagle breeding conservation program/center.

Over the years i've gone over in my head a few of my favorite wild animals and why their domestic counterparts just aren't suited for my home for one reason or another. One pipe dream that i just haven't let go of is ("domestic") silver fox rescue. I think that one's going to remain just a dream though.

Kicking myself in the butt for not following a different career path back when i was in school. Biology degrees could have been my best friend... then I could have at least been in some field working hands on. Be it the DNR, a zoo, or a research biologist.

[This was a hard one for me having to pick JUST two!!!]

THunder and DAwn, I hand raised and their two pups Dominic and Zotto who I am currently hand raising now....

I know you said "if you could" but lets face it... it won't (and or shouldn't) happen! Wild animals are wild animals, it would be dangerous to face one, even if it was tamed. They are fine in the wild as long as no one bothers them.

hmm.... it's kida hard to think of a wild animal for your own pet because there are so many!

But i would probally have a wild mustang horse (i love love horses!) and he would be called Spirit, and hmm.... i would have...... umm.....a pet Zebra!

nd he would be called Stripes! lol

But i do have 2 dogs at home called Zukki and Bryn, Zukki is a rhodesion Ridgeback he is about the size of a wolf and is very clumsy and he 1 year old. Bryn is a cross Between a Laborador and a German Shepherd, he is i think 10 weeks old now, very silly,bumps into loads of stuff, and attacks zukki and then realises zukki is alot stronger than him and he yels lol i would put up a picture but i don't know how. Also if you go onto this address on youtube: that is a movie of them i made, hope you like it! XD
